Spectacular week, bright and beautifully-appointed home

We were privileged to have spent joyous and relaxing hours at this distinguished Whale Beach home. This was our first visit to Australia, and following a week in Sydney we found the North Beaches district an impressive highlight: here architecturally singular homes are perched hundreds of feet above sculpted crescent bays with golden sands, waves and 25- and 50-meter rock pools for lap swimming. Many nearby hikes await the adventurous who wish to explore the region’s National Parks and headlands. Between the coastline, evocative of Amalfi, and the numerous bays providing shelter for dozens of graceful sailboats, we were enveloped by nature’s generosity and beauty. Peter and Jinko are splendid hosts, graciously sharing lots of ideas for places to go and restaurants to try. The kitchen is very well-equipped and everything is in pristine condition. There’s plenty of room to come together for games, meals and laughter, as well as places to retire for a quiet hour. The cobalt mosaic pool provides instant relief on hot days, and a clear night sky provides a Southern Hemisphere revelation of the Milky Way and constellations new to the northern eye. The birds are so exciting! I was zoomed by a flying fox, we tracked mynahs and cockatoos, and one evening were entertained by a half-dozen rainbow lorikeets. Thank you to our hosts for this extraordinary perspective on this rich and vibrant land.”

Sublime vista and beautiful home

We had a glorious week at Whale Beach in this beautiful cliff-top home. The views are absolutely stunning and it was only a few minutes walk down to the beach. Lots of lovely beaches, walks, ferry trips, restaurants, a perfect stay! Many thanks!”

Genuinely unforgettable!

We spent a wonderful week in Whale Beach. Access to the property at the start of our stay was very slick and we received excellent instructions on the house and local area. The owners offered numerous contact points in case we needed help (but they were not required). The area is dreamy- right next to a beautiful beach in a really relaxed and not overly developed area. With a car, access to Sydney was also straight forward (35 mins to the iconic Manly Ferry) so the house is well suited to someone looking for either/both a beach holiday and city break.”

Stunning views and spectacular sun and moon rises.Very hospitable hosts who gave much thought in making the house comfortable.We loved the pool. Visit the bible gardens and Whale Beach surf club for coffee.Do not forget Palm Beach Boathouse for coffee, pastries,chat with the locals and wonderful Boathouse shop for upscale household accessories. Truly Outstanding and Unforgettable

Peter and Jinko’s Whale Beach home near Sydney is an amazing retreat in the North Beaches area of Sydney Australia with incredible ocean views. Although less than an hour from downtown Sydney, it seems to be worlds away. The kitchen is very well stocked with the best kitchen gadgets such as the very highest end cappacino maker and great juicer. Peter and Jinko were the kindest and best hosts and will offer you a very comprehensive guide of the area including top area visits and restaurant suggestions. We are most appreciative we were able to stay in their beautiful home as TH guests. Well done and we hope to come back!!”
