May 2025Best property we've seen on third home
We have been "third homing" since its inception.. This lovely home is by far the most impressive in terms of stunning design and generous appointments. Everything is the best. It's a treasure. If you see it listed- take it! Design experts from around the world contributed to the creation of this "secret garden" in the Hudson River Valley. You are staying on the private gated grounds of the famous Vanderbilt Mansion on the Hudson River .. but it's not some pokey museum relic. This old carriage house was respectfully recreated in the most modern design aesthetic and loaded with the finest technology. Have a memorable meal by hiring a chef from CIA - ten minutes down the road- and take advantage of the restaurant grade kitchen and top of the line provisions. The garden is a decades long project of careful attention and meticulous culturing of local plantings. You've even got your own orchard spanning over elegant private, shaded bridges from the era of the gilded age. It is all just ridiculously gorgeous! Cheers! ”
