August 2023Cabin in the woods
We had stayed at a large home in The Bear Lake Reserve a year ago. We knew this home was smaller. Our disappointment was in how poorly it was supplied. Two rolls of toilet tissue and 1/3 roll of paper towels- not adequate. Per text from Owner: go buy your own. We were surprised that the “other” bedroom linens were full of short white dog hair and smelled of dog! There was very little laundry detergent supplied but we washed all that bed linen. Since I have to do physical therapy exercises, I was lying on the rug in the master bedroom. The amount of dog hai and dust under that bed was horrible. I’d say these owners have a problem with their cleaning service. ”

August 2022Resort Amenities in the Mountains
This home was so perfect for our family. It was extremely private and on a large lot in the woods. My kids loved the bunk beds, and we all loved the screened in porch, where we spent the majority of our time. A perfect peaceful retreat, we built fires, roasted s’mores, and loved our mountain getaway. Bear Lake Reserve is a tiny slice of heaven. With a calendar of events, a pool, hot tub, theater, hiking trails, private beach, boat rentals, fishing ponds, and more, there’s almost no reason to leave. However, we loved traveling to Cashiers (35 min.) to explore as well.”
