August 2025Amazing Newfoundland experience!
We had an amazing holiday in Brigus. The home was situated with gorgeous views of the water, sunsets from the rear decks and while dining in the spacious kitchen, and sunrises with a coffee on the front deck. The home is decorated in beautiful east coast art, top of the line appliances and stocked with everything you’ll need to enjoy your time. The spacious primary bedroom had a very comfortable king bed with ensuite and the other two bedrooms were great to accommodate the five of us. Brigus is a beautiful small town with plenty of history. We walked every day to the tunnel, for breakfast and coffee at the Vindicator and to the Covenant Cafe, our favourite. You’ll have to visit The Quay for lunch or dinner. Fabulous! Our host suggested places to visit and to shop. We did drive to St.John’ several times to do the touristy things, Cape Spear, Quidi Vidi, Signal Hill, George St., and Water St., less than an hour drive. But ultimately, we could have stayed at the house in beautiful Brigus all week.”

May 2023Beautiful, just as described.
Really lovely home, in a very quaint quiet little town. The home is very well equipped, and comfortable. May is a very cold and windy time in NF though, so we hope to return another year in July or August to enjoy the outdoor facilities. There are a lot of places to visit with the home as a jumping off point. Homeowner was very kind and easy to communicate with. ”

July 2022Family trip to Brigus & St John’s Newfoundland
This home is spotless, modern, comfortable, and idyllic for anyone wanting a quiet seaside escape with a view. No sandy beaches, but rather a classic fishing village on the North Atlantic, very close to the oldest English settlement in Canada (1610). Easy day trip to St John’s (1 hr away), easy drives along the beautiful coast, with some significant WWII history sites. Whale and Puffin watching boat trip was a highlight (no icebergs during our stay, though). Owner is great to work with.”
