Provisioning and Other Fees
The "retail charter value" depends on dates and the number of people. You can find the retail value of the charter in the "rates" section at www.deepbluebvi.com.
The Owner trades 50% of the retail value in Third Home Keys (at $1500 per key) and the guests would pay the balance in Cash to cover hard costs of crew, food, diesel, alcohol, permits which are all included. In addition, guests pay the tip for the staff (generally 15-20%) of the retail charter value payable in cash at the end of the charter.
Boat transfers from St Thomas via speedboat are $600 plus $50/person for entry/exit permits. Each way.
The benefit to you versus a charter booked through a broker is the ability to trade keys for around $16,000 of cost.
If the charter is "close" ie- within 2 months of start date - the owner will consider a different mix of keys/cash. Feel free to ask!!
Please note - Once booked cancellations are not permitted. Payment due immediately upon reservation.

Truly the amazing trip of a lifetime! Christina and Adrien were so accommodating and friendly. The meals were gourmet and delicious! The snorkeling/water activities/beaches and beach bars were above all our expectations! Can’t wait to do it again!”

March 2023Best Family Trip we Have Taken!
Our family of 5 went on “Deep Blue” for our Spring Break Trip and it was the best family vacation we have taken. We have three boys, ages 18, 10 and 8 which can be difficult to find activities we can all enjoy. But there was something for all of us on this trip, whether it was the beach, snorkeling, sightseeing or activities. The boat was comfortable and spacious for our group of 5. What truly made it special was the staff on Deep Blue, Adrien and Christina. There were so incredibly helpful, attentive and kind. My 8 year old says Christina was his favorite part of the trip!”

February 2023Truly Memorable
Chartering a sailboat has been on our bucket list for 30+ years and this trip fulfilled our dreams. The vessel was very comfortable and easily accommodated eight guests. There were lots of different hang out options while we sailed, both in the sun and the shade. The islands we visited were beautiful, our favorite being Virgin Gorda. Captain Adrien was knowledgeable and responsible and first mate/chef Christina was amazing; besides the food being delicious, she also assisted in getting us from the airport to the sailboat, restaurant reservations, etc. We could not have been happier with our journey! ”
