Escape the Kona heat but take advantage of the ocean views and convenient location at The Lodge at Kaloko. Nestled on the peaceful slopes of Hualalai sits this large estate on three acres. This five-bedroom, five-bathroom paradise sleeps 15 comfortably. It boasts a gated entry, three acres in the cloud forest, three living rooms, a 10 person hot tub, a solar-heated pool, outdoor fire pit, gym with treadmill and fitness equipment, basketball hoop, ocean views, and world-renowned golf 15 minutes away!

The kitchen area is a chef's dream come true. Double steam oven, Smeg appliances, Cutco knives, air fryer, Instapot, Vitamix, Kitchen Aid blender, Nespresso, coffee maker, coffee grinder, and French press are just a few of the widgets at your fingertips during your stay. The indoor dining area features an oversized concrete Restoration Hardware table that seats nine. Gather outside by the outdoor dining table that seats nine people as well.

Four of the five bedrooms are all Master Suites with memory foam mattresses, well-appointed linens, and their own private bathrooms. The primary master has a custom leather headboard and a large soaking tub. Two of the bedrooms have a separate exit to the lanai and beautiful lush grounds. There is a trundle bed that sleeps two, a pull-out queen sleeper sofa upon request, and a full-sized bunk bed for additional sleeping options. There is also a futon in one of the bedrooms and a queen-sized air mattress available upon request.

The Lodge at Kaloko truly feels like a lodge you would find on the slopes of Aspen but located just minutes away from the most beautiful beaches in the world. Minutes away are downtown Kona, Four Seasons Hualalai and Kukio, the famous "Jurassic Trail," Cloud Forest Sanctuary, and Mountain Thunder Coffee Farm is in our backyard.

Beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel equipment, boogie boards, beach bags, beach mats, and coolers are provided.

Days often see beautiful fog or rain that support the unique ecosystem. Late afternoons most often are clear and crisp for breathtaking sunsets. Hiking trails, the Cloud Forest Sanctuary, and Mountain Thunder Coffee Farm are up the road. Ocean views can be seen from the main living room, kitchen, and dining room on a clear day. Depending on the season, the property has apple bananas, Kona coffee, Hawaiian chili peppers, lemongrass, oranges, and guava, and several native flowers, including hibiscus, gardenia, and hydrangeas. Donkeys on a nearby property will come to the fence to say aloha. Wild turkeys, wild parrots, cardinals, 'io (Hawaiian hawks) fly above the day enjoy the sounds of the tropical coqui frogs in the evening. The property borders a forest preserve on one side.
