Description

"A River Runs Through It" Chic Georgia Cabin

Tucked back in the woods, just a few yards away from the flowing waters of Fighting Town Creek, sits this incredible North Georgia three-bedroom cabin. "A River Runs Through It" is definitely one of the most unique and spectacular cabins that you will ever have the pleasure of visiting.

Situated on 1.3 acres with over 200 feet of prime creek frontage, you'll immediately feel at one with nature as you sit back and relax to the sound of the soothing waters. Beautifully landscaped, with a natural Georgia Mountain flair, you can play Bocce Ball, Horseshoes, soak in the sounds of the creek from the hot tub and firepit area, or sit at the custom bar on the oversized deck with a beverage of your choice.
No worries about stumbling around in the dark, because this cabin has a one-of-a-kind specialty bar and stools made out of 100-year-old Cyprus that was pulled out from the bottom of the Louisiana River, and then coated so that it illuminates with a soothing glow in the evening. It's the perfect place to gather around in the evening to share your stories.

Now that you've explored the exterior of this spectacular Blue Ridge Mountain Cabin, come inside to see how a luxury cabin looks! With an all-custom interior from the double fireplace, sun-room facing the creek, and secret bedroom hidden behind the bookshelf, you will find that special attention to detail in every corner of this cabin. The entire back of the cabin has windows facing Fighting Town Creek along with plenty of seating for everyone. A River Runs Through It boasts three flat-screen TVs (including Choice, HBO, Starz, Showtime, and Cinemax), and a double fireplace to enhance that wonderful North Georgia Mountain setting in both the family and dining room. Enjoy music from the duel HiFi speaker system from the hot tub, deck, firepit and bocce ball areas.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything a gourmet chef would need, including beautiful stainless steel appliances and specialty cast iron cookware, plus a grill with side burner and timer, custom built 7′ spice rack plus spring-fed and filtered well-water for that first cup of delicious hot coffee or tea. Another secret hidden gem is the custom breakfast table that can be flipped over to reveal a poker table for family game nights.

The Master bedroom is located on the main floor and has an inviting king-size bed, 60″ flat-screen TV with DVD, full bath with shower, and private porch overlooking Fighting Town Creek. This is the perfect spot to cuddle up on a chilly night with that someone special! The second king suite is located in the loft area and has it's own half bath. This space also has a comfy sofa to curl up with a good book of your own or one from the vast library at the cabin. Hidden behind the secret bookshelves under the staircase is a queen-sized custom-built log bed, perfect for the kids when you need additional sleeping space.

* King bed on main with 60" TV and private bath
* King in the loft with half bath and seating
* Queen on main in secret hidden room with TV

Just 20 minutes from the quaint mountain towns of both Ellijay, Blue Ridge, GA., and Mccaysville, you'll find plenty of shops, restaurants, breweries and wineries and specialty stores to enjoy for a day or all week long. There's also great hiking, fishing, horseback riding, zip-lines, white-water rafting and much more to explore at this wonderful mountain setting.

Cabin In The Woods

The cabin is in a remote location in a nice setting in the woods along a creek. It was clean and well appointed inside. The owner was outstanding at communicating and providing information that we needed and suggestions for things to do. Unfortunately we had a good bit of rain that did not afford us the opportunity to enjoy all of the outdoors. The hot tub was a nice plus however the exterior of the cabin and grounds could use some maintenance. The road to the cabin was rough and a 4 wheel drive is suggested.”

A Great Getaway Spot and Cabin!

We enjoyed our Thanksgiving 2022 weekend stay at “A River Runs Through It.” It’s a very nice cabin with plenty of space for our family of 5. Lots of things to do “on property” in the remote location. We enjoyed the creek, hot tub, outdoor fire pit, patio seating, and lots of little spots to read and relax (both indoors and outdoors). The cabin is also stocked with lots of games like poker chips, cards, bocce ball, and DVDs. The kitchen had a great supply of items to prepare all our meals. Kebin is the owner and host and he went out of his way to make sure we had a great visit, comfortable stay, and that we had info on activities to do nearby. We recommend this spot for a quiet getaway to recharge!”
