January 2026Picturesque Silverthorne Home
First off, this home is beautiful and very well cared for, and the views of the lake distant mountains are stunning. (And which can be thoroughly enjoyed from the great room/kitchen, patio/hot tub area, and master bedroom)! The master bedroom bed (king size) was comfortable, and well appointed. The other bedrooms offered twin sized beds, which were found to be too soft for our other guests (personal preference here). The kitchen is well stocked with appliances, tools and utensils for preparing meals. Something to note, the home is either a primary residence (or secondary residence) with lots of personal effects. Closets and cabinetry are full of clothing and personal items, which can make it a bit challenging to settle into the home. Also, the driveway access to the home is rather steep and may require 4-wheel drive during periods of moderate to heavy snow. The owners were very friendly and responsive, and the instructions for the property were clear and easy to follow, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we happily stay here again.”
