Upon arrival at the "Bend of the River" retreat, find yourself nestled in the North Georgia Mountains with beautiful scenery - mountain views and LAKEFRONT on one of the most beautiful lakes in North Georgia, Lake Chatuge. This is one of the few homes on Lake Chatuge that provides you with a LUXURY CUSTOM BUILT 27" TRI-TOON BOAT !! (additional fees apply for boat rental ).

The cozy, elegant lodge lets you and your family immediately relax in the north Georgia atmosphere. Entering the home's front door leads you into an inviting foyer that separates the home into two large dining areas, two kitchens, a game room complete with a pool table, GOLDEN TEE golf game, air hockey, a chess table, ping pong, and basketball! There is a kitchenette on the lower level adjacent to the game room.

There is plenty of space for entertaining indoors and outdoors. Step outside and enjoy the putt-putt golf course, volleyball, horseshoes, cornhole, hot tub, ping pong, basketball, firepit, treadmill,

Lake level is low from mid-September to the first week in May, therefore not allowing for boat parking at the dock. However, kayaks and paddle boards can be rented year-round.

Escape for the night to one of nine bedrooms and six bathrooms (see the floor plan and bed configurations in the photo gallery).

There are many incredible activities and sites to see in the surrounding area! Don't miss the incredible views from nearby "Bell Mountain". North Georgia has several wineries and wine-tasting tours for wine enthusiast. The highest point in Georgia is "Brasstown Bald" which is south of Hiawassee - a beautiful drive and incredible views! For the hiking enthusiast, hop on the Appalachian Trail from many trailhead locations in North Georgia. The Bavarian town of "Helen" and the "gold mining" town of Dahlonega is also popular tourist attractions located south of the property. The home is a short drive to Hiawassee, giving access to several restaurants, bars, grocery stores and a public beach area.
