Had a really nice time!

The 4 bedroom bungalow was a fantastic option for us traveling with another family. The kids had two rooms and the other set of parents and we had our own separate bedroom spaces which was fantastic for privacy and relaxation for all. The lagoon was a blast which we swam in every day and the play area was a huge hit and tuckered out the kiddos often. The communal space was great, sparse but large and plenty of space to spread out. The food options were however the only reason this wasn't a 5 star. The Amigos restaurant is just not good at all and it's really the only option if you don't want to take a shuttle. Very hard to find good delivery and then it can't be delivered to the door anyways. The staff members were fantastic, everything was clean and pleasant, but if you plan to be here know that you either need to travel for good food or take advantage of the full kitchen and grill to make your own meals. Thank you!”

Life on the Lagoon

We had a wonderful week at the Diamante Four Bedroom Bungalow on the Lagoon. The home was beautiful, private and in an unbelievable setting. The views from the private dock on the lagoon are without rival. One thing to keep in mind is that there are very few other people staying at Diamante. A typical day on this giant lagoon has 50 people enjoying it. This is definitely a golf resort first and foremost.”

House was lovely

Our stay in the 4 bedroom bungalow was very enjoyable. The space is very large and we were in #5 which was at the end of the row of bungalows and very private. A kayak came with the rental and was always on the dock ready to use. The house is well equipped, we planned to eat most meals in house so it did lack some items to do that each day. The house has cleaning service each day and people were there around 2-3 hours each morning which I did feel was a bit excessive to have someone around each day for that long. Overall great stay- Diamante is not a party atmosphere, very quiet in March and we found this enjoyable.”

Diamante 4-Bedroom Bungalow

Wonderful resort on the Pacific Ocean side of El Arco. The 4-bdr bungalow was very spacious and well-attended. Diamante has hit a home run at their resort. The restaurants were very good with foods of the highest quality. We could've stayed on the resort premises the entire time and been very content. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing our own meals. Overall, it was a very relaxing experience, and one that I plan to repeat in the near future. You can't go wrong with the 4-bdr bungalow. You definitely won't regret it.”

Wonderful place but small quirks

I would absolutely recommend this place. I probably wouldn’t rate it as a five star resort, but still very nice. Things to be be aware. Very spotty and slow internet. Bedrooms are private bungalows and the main house area can not be locked. Only go if everyone in your group is a very strong swimmer. Very easy to fall into lagoon and no gates. Almost impossible to get golf times. Spa is expensive but very small and simple. No lounge rooms or group steam/sauna. Also I love a good bath in vacation and the unit didn’t have a bath tub. All that aside, we still loved our stay. The fire pit at night was heavily, shrimp tacos were legendary and guest services on point. Bedding first tier and room service was perfect. ”

Lagoon 4 bedroom bungalow

The Diamante Resort Club was very nice. I would have rather stayed in the condos and have an ocean view. The lagoon is nice and better if you have children. Our house had a very musty smell in the bedroom. The staff attended to the situation very fast but the smell never went away. I feel they should have put us in another bungalow since there were several vacant. We noticed the smell as soon as we walked in the house. Could have been easily moved to another bungalow.”

This was our second opportunity to stay at Diamante. Chances are we will be back again. This property is so over the top, the service is amazing in every way. We stayed in the 4-bedroom pool bungalow this time with out own dock on the pool. Just amazing. We ate at all three of the restaurants, the food is great and service perfect. Diamante has my 100% endorsement on all services.”

Wonderful family vacation

We had two families who had a delightful stay. I would compare this resort to a Westin or Marriott. It’s an owners property so they don’t allow tipping, food prices are very reasonable and water activities are included. My kids loved the floating inflatable obstacle course. They have a 9 hole golf course that is only $25. Although the $320 golf does come with a caddy and free food and drinks all day. We didn’t play but it looked like a spectacular course. The only thing you might want to consider is water safety. The villa is right on a lagoon with a deep dock. If you had a roaming toddler this could be dangerous. Also the property is on a gorgeous man made lagoon but still about a mile from the ocean. You can walk or take a shuttle. They have some lounge chairs but there is a lot of construction going on in that area. This didn’t bother us at all because the lagoon has its own beach and so nice to swim, paddle board, kayak- etc. . But if you love the ocean- this might not be a good fit. Staff was amazing, nice spa perfect balance of having your own home but still getting the amenities of a resort. ”

Golf trip

Very nice place. Extensive spaces, jacuzzi and Bbq outdoors. You need a car. The golf courses, all 3, were amazing, had snack shacks with freshly made drinks included. The staff very friendly and helpful. Close to Nobu hotel and Hardrock. Went fishing one day with a guide, caught a marlin, released, caught a Mahi Mahi, had it prepared and shipped back home. I would compare this to the Ojai Valley Inn just a lot bigger. Overall a great experience, we would go back maybe with a bigger group. ”

Overall a really beautiful resort. It is very remote however, but if you are looking for peace and quiet and a little golf this is ideal. If you are looking to swim in the ocean or partake in beach activities, this is not the place for you...unless you have a car.. We had a car so we were able to drive in to Cabo to the beach and eat at local restaurants.”

We were a party of 8 very old friends and had a wonderful time, except that the greens fees were way too high to play much golf. We loved being on the lagoon. There were’t enough cooking items but we managed to cook a couple of meals. We loved that all of the bedrooms were the same size and layout. The service was incredible! Everyone was very nice and super accommodating!”

Property was beautiful but very remote. No beach only the lagoon. Golf was super expensive. And after spending all the money it was windy. It was overall very windy weather so tennis was a fail too. So besides the lagoon not much to do.”

This property is the cream of the crop. 1,500 oceanfront acres of paradise with just about every amenity you could dream up. A 10 acre saltwater lagoon with kayaks, paddle boards, and peddel boats, championship golf courses, world class gym and spa, amazing restaurants and much more. We were able to participate in the baby turtle release on the beach, which was an unforgettable experience our family will be talking about for years to come. This is a place where memories are made. The Bungalow is INCREDIBLE! It’s a four bedroom home located ON THE 10 ACRE LAGOON. It has its own private hot tub, fire pit, and dock with it´s own personal kayak. WOW. If you have the opportunity to visit this resort, do not hesitate. It is spectacular. ”

Diamante Bungalow 8

Diamante is a beautiful, and somewhat strange, resort on the Pacific coast about a 12 minute drive north of Cabo San Lucas. Primarily a golf-centric destination, it is still under massive development and construction. The Bungalow is huge, 4 BR, situated on the enormous man-made salt water lagoon, with its own dock and kayak. Good resort amenities (2 restaurants, beach bar/lunch place, putting green, spa, small deli. House is very open and well laid out, with large open living area and big patio and private beach areas on either side of the house. Outdoor shower. Cool place for a big family. Services are excellent - they will grocery shop for you, make reservations everywhere, arrange transport,. Would recommend it...recognizing it is really a small resort-feel place amidst planned and owned homesites. ”
