Villa El Carmoli is situated in a small village named "El Carmoli", just 30 minutes, by car, from Cartagena.

The village of El Carmolí nestles in the northeastern corner of the large municipality of Cartagena, next to the boundary with Los Alcázares on the western shore of the Mar Menor. This huge saltwater lagoon is enclosed on the other side by La Manga. This area is part of a protected birdlife reserve, and natural salt flats and areas of wild vegetation surround the 500-metre-long beach. Most of the coast in this corner is raw and rough.
