Fantastic Hosts and location!

This was our first trip to Iceland and we could not be happier with our stay in this beautiful house in Fludir. It was right near the Golden Circle and also allowed us an easy drive in our rental car to Reykavik, Selfoss and the black sand beaches near Vik. Our host, Páll, gave us recommendations of places to visit and answered all our questions. The home itself was a real treat with it's mountain views, amenities and comfortable furniture.”

The most outstanding house and location!

We traveled with our family and stayed in this beautiful house in Fludir, Iceland. We loved that the location was near most of the popular sights to see but at the same time was a wonderful, serene retreat once we got back to the house each day. Páll helped us connect with an amazing travel company which helped us plan each day in the most perfect way. The house was high end with every amenity we could ask for. The highlight was being able to see the Northern Lights while sitting in the beautiful outdoor hot tub. The most amazing experience in the most beautiful home. Thank you Páll!”

AMAZING PROPERTY

We loved the house at Fludir, it is in a private estate of summer houses, this being the best one!! So quiet and relaxing. It is brand new and sparkling with every conceivable thing you could want from the excellently put together kitchen to the outdoor hot tub and sauna/spa area. Very comfortable beds too. Having never been to Iceland before it was a great adventure. This house is 1.5 hours from Reykjavik on the "golden circle" so close to all the amazing sites on the bucket list. Thank you Pall for having us in his lovely home. We really appreciate it.”

Wonderful Retreat on the Golden Circle

We had a great week at Pall's home in Fludir. Pall was a great host and good at communicating. He was very accommodating in coordinating our arrival. His home is well-appointed and stylishly decorated. We felt quite at home and relaxed while visiting. The house is located in a great area near the key sites of the Golden Circle. It was a perfect spot for our group and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Pall!”

A true Iceland retreat!

I don't know where to begin ... Thank you to Pall and his wife for a magical week! The house was perfect in every way! Exactly as described, plus more! We were 3 couples and Pall greeted us upon arrival to show us around the home and how to use the various devices (hot tub, garage, drying area, sauna, etc ...). He opened his home with complete generosity. The home and its finishings were top of the line and the beauty of the surroundings paralleled the beauty within. We felt like we were at home away from home! After a long day of touring, glacier hiking, and waterfall experiences, we arrived home to cook in a wonderful kitchen, sit in the jacuzzi with a glass of wine, and stare with wonder at the beautiful sky and surroundings. Beautiful, classy and comfortable

This was the perfect stay. All communication was timely and precise. Instructions clear and easy to find and follow. Layout is perfect, beds super comfortable, decor stylish and appliances top notch. We took full advantage of the smoker and nice BBQ and loved the family time around the beautiful dining room table. The sauna and jacuzzi where used every day and gathering around the outdoor fire pit on our last evening was just magical. We even got a chance to play the nice golf course and the grand daughters could not get enough of the golf cart ;) Location is great and close to many of Icelands wonderful nature attractions.
