Description

Rustic Villa El Rompido

This luxury and fabulous five bedrooms villa is in "El Rompido". With a vast 592 private garden and a maximum capacity of 14 guests, it is the perfect retreat for big families or groups of friends.

The small village of "El Rompido" is ideally located on the Atlantic Ocean shore and is the pride of the Costa de la Luz of Andalusia, named after the bright sunlight reflected by the vast and brilliant sandy beaches. Costa de la Luz's appeal is endless, offering holidays to sun-seekers with its endless stretches of beaches, warm seas and 'chiringuitos' (beach bars). A 20-minute walk from the villa, guests can sunbathe or choose one of the nautical activities or fishing. The little boat that crosses the estuary allows you to reach La Flecha beach in 5 minutes, a spectacular virgin beach with dunes, rated as one of the two best beaches in Europe according to The Guardian in 2019.

The property is in a private gated community directly connected with the area's famous golf courses, the town and the Marina, all reachable by foot, bike or buggy. The urbanization also offers common areas like a club with a restaurant and a shared outdoor pool open in summer.

The inside of the property offers guests modern decorations and ample areas to enjoy the stay together. Living spaces are spacious and bright, with large windows allowing plenty of natural light. A decor blend of modern and classical styles and wooden elements creates an elegant and fashionable atmosphere surrounding the property. From the living room, guests will have direct access to the ample covered terrace to relax on the big outdoor sofa or drink a glass of wine al fresco.

The five rooms are furnished and tastefully decorated, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay in a modern and minimalist style that fits perfectly with the luminosity and harmony of this property. Two are the kid's rooms, with four bunk beds each, ideal for children.

Staying in this beautiful private villa, guests can also discover another country. This property is located only 40 minutes from the border with Portugal, where the magnificent town of Vila Real de Santo Antonio is situated. Overlooking the cooling waters of the Rio Guadiana, at the very edge of the beautiful Algarve coastline blessed with glorious sandy beaches and a picturesque fishing town, the delightful Portuguese has a unique appearance, with a grand central plaza and picturesque Pombaline architecture. Take a walk along the waterfront is a palm tree-lined promenade of the town's Blue Flag beach, backed by the extensive dunes and pine groves of the Mata Nacional das Dunas. The nature reserve area of canals, marshes and salt pans is a haven for wildlife, including bird species such as black-winged stilts and flamingos.

Great place to visit for american going to europe

I was worried about third home in Europe. This place was perfect. easy. clean. the owner is so great. He helped with everything - gave me places to go - places to eat. If you can get this house and you like the beach, golf and europe....this would be a great pick.”

Perfect stay

My family and I had such a great time in this property. It is way much better in reality. It is a gated compound with a huge pool, restaurant, tennis courts, paddle courts and football field. The Villa has everything we need, large bedrooms and bathrooms, a garden with a nice chill out area. Children enjoyed so much, they also had bycicles available and it was great for them. The village is only 10 mins walk with many restaurants with such a great food. Two golf courses within walking distance as well. Algarve is only 40 mins drive.”
