Olivo Santo Estate

Olivo Santo is a private property on top of a hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Zapallar's County, 2mi away from the sea. Zapallar is an exceptionally picturesque coastal town in central Chile reachable by freeway from Santiago in under 2hrs. Unlike the larger and more well-known Viña del Mar and its suburbs, Zapallar has no major hotels, high rises, and busy streets. Rather, Zapallar is where Chile's well-to-do come to get away from it all and where a handful of tourists fill its one hotel and few bed and breakfasts year-round. One of the highlights of Zapallar is its Ramblas, a two-mile stone walkway that follows the cliffs and hills surrounding Zapallar and along its quiet harbour and sandy beach. From the Ramblas, you have a spectacular view of the huge waves that come in from the sea and the stately vacation homes of Chile's elite.

Set in an olive plantation, the grounds include two houses, one main house and one guest house, a pool house with ping-pong and pool table, an outdoor swimming pool, solarium, jacuzzi, steam bath and tennis court.

The spacious 861000 square feet garden embraces 4 hectares of olive plantation, a pond with a gazebo, several outdoor fireplaces, BBQ areas, stables and an organic orchard which guests are welcome to share. There are many places to relax, contemplate and enjoy your stay.

Each of the six rooms at Olivo Santo is spacious with cosy décor and has ensuite bathrooms, private patios featuring outdoor showers, and many alternative sleeping configurations. The beds at Olivo Santo have high-quality mattresses, down pillows and duvets, with high-count cotton sheets.

Olivo Santo has a perfect combination of mountains and sea. Only a 10-minute drive from Maitencillo Beach, there are many outdoor activities, including surfing, kayaking, fishing, mountain biking, skating, hikking and horseback riding.
