Nestled within the former internationally recognized Botanical Garden, it is a sanctuary for wildlife like birds, monkeys, sloths and thousands of species of tropical plants, butterflies, dragon flies. A private jungle walk and a natural swim pool means that you’ll be surrounded by nature yet close to the best surf breaks on the island.

A second floor addition includes a second communal area with stunning ocean views an additional sleeping loft and private office space. Also, in harmony with the sustainable features of the property, will be a natural swimming pond, fully filtered water without the use of chlorine and a private jungle walk where you can be up close and personal with the local inhabitants; monkeys, sloths, toucans and many types of tropical birds.

Casa Botanica and the two casitas comprise nearly 3050 Square Feet (285 Sq Meters) of beautifully designed living space. Sitting on an ocean bluff in a very tranquil setting where you can relax, bird-watch, and wake to the calls of howler monkeys – you’ll catch a cooling breeze from the decks, and be comfortably away from the nuisances of mosquitos and chitras.

A large private compound comprised of three independent and fully autonomous structures including a main house with a private, independent master suite with a covered deck, plus two fully autonomous casitas, each with kitchenettes, full baths and private decks. Offering the perfect space for groups of friends or family who would like some privacy but also a great communal space for meals or planning your next adventure. The casitas are also the perfect spot for your staff while you are staying in the main house.

Guests will have access to the entire property including main house, independent master suite, decks, 24 hours access to all gardens, the pool and the private jungle walk as well as the two casitas.

Inside the main house, Casa Botanicas full wall of glass doors expose the view of the ocean, and a spacious, comfortable living space welcomes you to make yourself at home. The large well-stocked kitchen is ideal for entertaining – the central island seats 8+! The interior finishes are custom-designed by an award-winning US-based interior designer and capture the playful attitude of this tropical country while embracing elegance and luxury in blues and neutrals – all to Airbnb Plus standards.

The expansive deck boasts views of the property’s palm garden, the pool with water fall and the ocean beyond - you’ll hear both the soothing sounds of the ocean, the cascading falls of the swim pool and the music of the jungle while enjoying outdoor dining or lazy day lounging. The deck is our preferred place to take in the rainforest wildlife (like toucans, parrots and howler monkeys), relax with a book, or entertain a group.

The property was formerly a part of the Botanic Gardens of Bocas del Toro. New for 2023 is an all natural swim pond by AZ Design Studio who’s design work at La Carolina Resort and is a must-see experience for architecture buffs visiting Bocas del Toro.

Surfers – you can store your boards on one of the two surf board racks.

There’s also a BBQ on the deck for at-home grilling, or we can arrange a private chef for your stay or special occasion meals. We have blazing fast internet, plus 5 desk spaces just in case you have to check with the office or if you’re on a working trip. We offer keyless entry and smart locks for your convenience and safety.

AUTONOMOUS CASITAS
Casitas are arranged in the style of a luxury hotel room with a common wall.
Each with a private entrance and each includes a kitchenette with an eating/desk space, a main studio living area, en suite bath with large walk in shower, a closet and outdoor deck.

Each casita is 31.95 sq. meters (344 sq. ft) Deck is 7.7 meters (82 sq. ft.) and includes an eat in kitchenette with eating/desk area, ensuite bathroom with LARGE WALK IN SHOWER!!

Brand new WiFi gigabit mesh router. The Wifi works throughout the entire property without any dead spots. Internet is typically 65 Mbs download.

You'll have access to the entire property including the main house, the independent master suite, the two autonomous casitas, all decks and 24 hour access to the gardens, swim pond and the private jungle walk. Car park includes one parking space.
