Great location and views

First the positives about tis property: the location is excellent, river front, short walk to many restaurants and shops, and the historic part of the town. The views of the river are great from the house, especially from the terrace. The house is comfortable. Some negatives: The house is a rental/investment property, and the owners do not live there. As a result, some common ordinary things are missing. There is no dining table at all in the house! Eating meals sitting on stools in a row at the kitchen counter is very inconvenient. The room upstairs has great views and is easily accessed by an elevator, but it has no air conditioning nor heating -- uncomfortable in the winter season. The terrace should have an outdoor heater. There is no outdoor grill in the house. The second bedroom is very small. It is a long flight of stairs to get to the house, especially with luggage -- at least mention this in advance. The living room needs more lights. The kitchen appliances need updating: the toaster toasts bread on only one side! The gas stoves often often don't light with the igniter -- we went and bought a lighter. Maintenance needs to be improved: the towel rods in both the bathrooms came off the wall.”
