Mountain Summer Escape

Located in Big Cottonwood Canyon at 7500 feet this home offers easy access of the main canyon road. This exquisite house, lovingly crafted in the early 90s, is a testament to rustic elegance. Adorned with hand-peeled log columns, antique oriental rugs, Ralph Lauren fabrics, stone floors, and slate-adorned bathrooms, it exudes an inviting sense of home.
The main level consists of two living rooms, an office, dining room and an extremely well equipped kitchen. There is a rear patio with a chiminea and BBQ and smaller table and chairs looking into the forest behind the house.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts a king-sized bed, an en-suite bathroom with Japanese soaking tub, and a walk-in closet. The other two bedrooms are thoughtfully designed for a variety of guests. One features a full bed and a twin bed, ideal for a small family. The second bedroom offers two double beds and a set of bunk beds specially designed for children 7 and younger.
For added convenience, there's an additional hall bathroom out side the third bedroom and a half bath on the first floor. The house has lots of activities for children, books, games and even dress up!
Please note that there is a self contained studio apartment for our caretaker located at the top of the rear staircase and it's door is opposite the 3rd bedroom. You may from time to time encounter him/her coming and going.
The house is located a short distance downhill from the Silver Fork Lodge on the main canyon road. It is a 15-minute drive to the base of Big Cottonwood Canyon where groceries can be found. Mountain biking and hiking is outside your door and your hostess is happy to offer suggestions. Many people love to escape the heat of the valley or other states during the summer months and enjoy the cooler mountain air of Big Cottonwood Canyon. During these summer months the Guard road that leads to Park City is open. This is one of the most beautiful drives in Utah and takes just 30 minutes to reach Park City , 40 to Midway or Heber.
