Wonderful upper west side history

Tons of charm and prewar details and great neighborhood with grocery store and coffee right outside the building. Beds are small, so best for people who are not tall, but sheets and pillows are comfy and clean. Rooftop is a peaceful place to close out the day spent exploring this wonderful city. Great communication from host. Would definitely stay again.”

Gracious NYC apartment in unbeatable location

Delightful apartment in an historic building, with easy access to Central Park and the rest of Manhattan with the 72nd Street subway station on the doorstep. Multiple restaurants are within easy walking distance, but on several occasions we also chose to pick up food from Citarella and Fairway (well-known Upper West Side institutions), which are right outside the building. If you are looking for an uber-modern, soulless box, this is probably not for you, but if timeless elegance is more your thing, we would highly recommend, and we hope to return when the opportunity presents itself.”

Great Location in historic building but needs a few things

The apartment is a rather large two bedroom in a beautiful historic building on the Upper West Side. The rooftop deck was great. But there were a few issues. There were no working TV's (the owner said she is going to get that fixed). The internet when you were not in the room with the router was very slow which made streaming impossible. The beds were both full (to be fair, the listing does say that, I overlooked it). But it was clean and had plenty of space. The owner was very good with communication.”
