Chalet Eden | Apartment Frederick

Frederick was constructed in 2016 and, therefore, has a wonderful contemporary feel. Frederick is spread over one level on the ground floor and has direct access to the ski storage rooms beneath the chalet. It has a large open plan living dining area with a large modern kitchen and wood burning stove, and large sliding doors out to the terrace area, making it a wonderful area for friends to gather and entertain.

There are two double bedrooms and a bunk room that sleeps four. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, and there is a separate family bathroom. The living room and main bedroom have French and English TVs with DVD players, and there is Wi-Fi throughout.

The front door is undercover beside the covered car parking on the ground floor. There is a bench for taking your shoes on and off and a firewood store for the wood stove.

The living room is part of the kitchen and opens onto a large paved terrace – a lovely place to dine in the summer. The room has a fireplace, a French and English TV, and a DVD player. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso, filter coffee makers, kettle, and toaster. There is an internet radio and Bluetooth speaker as well. The table expands to seat up to 12 people if you are entertaining. There is a large American-style Bosch fridge/freezer with a water cooler and ice maker.

The large L shaped sofas are a comfortable place to relax after a day’s activities – put some music on the Bluetooth speaker, watch a movie (with both English and French TV and a DVD player) or chat with your friends and family.

The large granite paved terrace catches the sun and is a lovely place to sit out and dine on warm summer evenings. There are tables and chairs and a gas BBQ for your use.

The large master bedroom has a double bed that can be split into two singles if preferred (160cm x 200cm). There is a large chest of drawers and hangers on the wall. It also has an ensuite bathroom with both a shower and bath to relax in. The en-suite bathroom has a bath and shower, where you can relax at the end of the day. It also has a heated towel rail, basin, and toilet. The second double bedroom has a large double bed (190 cm x 200cm) and a sizeable wardrobe for storage. The family bathroom has a bath and shower to relax in, two basins and a heated towel rail.

The practical and cosy bunk room has four full-size bunk beds (90cm x 200cm) which are suitable for adults. There is plenty of storage provided by hooks & hangers and drawers under the beds.

Underneath the chalet is a large basement area containing the laundry room and ski & boot storage room for Frederick. The fully kitted ski room has an electric boot and glove dryer and lots of rack space and hooks for your ski kit.

Frederick has direct access to the basement via its own staircase. The basement area is heated and well-lit and has independent external access, so no ski boots or equipment need to be taken into the apartment: It can all be left in the heated ski room on the hooks or the electric driers.

The laundry room has a separate Bosch washer and tumble drier and a basin with hot and cold water.

There is parking for two cars: one under the covered area by the front door, and one close to the basement door. The driveway will be cleared of any newly fallen snow.
