Review of Rixile Kruger Lodge The house was exactly as beautiful as in the pictures, set right in nature where we were lucky enough to see springbok, kudu, genets, and even a warthog right outside. The kitchen was fully equipped and so well arranged that it was a pleasure to cook for our big group. Everything was spotless, and the daily cleaning service kept the lodge in perfect condition. The experience struck a wonderful balance: plenty of self-drive safaris, relaxing in the gorgeous lodge, exploring the Blyde River Canyon, and enjoying drinks while watching animals in the riverbed near the hotel. The location is unbeatable too – just 500m from the entrance gate. We saw all kinds of animals and highly recommend booking an early morning or evening drive with SANParks, which go beyond the normal gate hours. Thank you, Rixile Kruger Lodge and especially Clint – we truly can’t imagine a better safari experience! ”

May 2025Unbelievable experience
This home is an architectural wonder in a most remarkable setting and easily within walking distance of the Paul Kruger Gate. It also borders Sabi Sands Game reserve. Therefore, you can’t walk it due to the frequent animal sightings close by. Clint, the property manager, was fantastic and staff is available to clean daily. One staff member even insisted on changing a flat tire that we incurred. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to go on safari in South Africa. ”
