Location, comfort & total relax at this lakeside home

Can’t say enough good stuff about this place.. it was so well-appointed and felt like “home” instead of someone’s curated hotel-like investment property. It’s tucked back off windy roads (which match the outline of the lakefront), easy to access, tranquil (and felt like a sanctuary for deer! Sooo many), and a giant dock even with space for our own water toys! I spent a lot of time cooking for our crew in the kitchen which looks out at the lake.. plenty of deck furniture for hanging outside and dining al fresco.. and a big kitchen set up out side even which I didn’t use but can tell they love entertaining.. they even have a nugget ice maker! Beds were comfy, linens nice, and plenty of room and bathrooms for all of us. When not in the water, we spent the week watching World Cup games on the giant couch in the living room.. It’s not walkable as most things aren’t in Texas.. everything’s BIG and spread out in Tx… so lots of driving into town, but once you get the hang of it, it doesn’t feel like much. I also never went to the closer grocery store as I fell in love with the black hole of HEB.. give yourself extra time.. it’s BIG, again, just like Texas. We ate at the Bluebonnet a couple times (oh my goodness the pie) and I shopped around the Marble Falls shops a little.. very cute historic downtown. But my favorite was the rodeo on the weekend! Make sure to check if it’s happening during your stay! It was packed and really fun.. nothing like a small town rodeo! ”

We loved this place! It's in an awesome location on a quiet cul-de-sac, with tons of amenities and a very well-stocked home. Communication with the host was great, and there was so much to do — they even had plenty of fun toys and life jackets that made our stay easy and stress-free. We had one of the best family trips we've ever had, and this spot was a blast.”

Beautiful Home on the Water

My family had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful home on the water. Amazingly comfortable beds, spacious and clean bathrooms and multiple spaces to relax and enjoy the view. There is so much to do either on the lake, in Fredericksburg, at Enchanted Rock, along the wine trail on the way to Fredericksburg or in Austin - all within an hour's drive from the house. You cannot go wrong staying at this home in the beautiful hill country of Texas.”

I’ll start by saying that we were the first third home exchange for these owners. So, there were some hiccups and a few refinements that will be needed. That being said, we had a great time in this beautiful home. ”
