Beautiful house in a stunning location. Lots to do in Kinsale, lovely swims at Dock Beach, Garretstown Beach and Sandycove at high tide. Would recommend the guided tour of Kinsale that leaves from the Tourist Information Office. Enjoyed the spacious sitting and dining rooms , plenty of space for our group of 12 adults. Incredible countryside estate!

Our first trip to Ireland was incredible and much had to do with our stay at this amazing property just outside of Kinsale. The yard was well kept and plenty of room for the kids to run around, swing and jump on the trampoline. The beds were comfortable and our favorite part of the home was the family room which is a natural gathering place rapped by couches on all 4 walls. The location is perfectly located just a few minutes' drive from town. And our host was incredibly helpful throughout our entire stay and the weeks leading up to our trip. We absolutely loved the Kinsale Jewel! ”

Amazing house in the country perfect for a family or friends getaway

This was the perfect house for us to stay with our extended family over the Easter holidays. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful and the house itself and its grounds and facilities are just amazing. It’s really well furnished, authentic and beautiful, amazing sheets and towels, and very clean and amazing service by our host Ryan. I highly recommend it, we had a wonderful time and would love to come back at some point.”

A beautiful house and site

What an incredible house. Loads of room, big great rooms and bedrooms. Great views of the bay watching the time going in and out. Very fashionable. Lots of beautiful lawns and outdoor areas. Only negative is only 1 bathroom upstairs with 4 big bedrooms. Not a problem for us, just me and my brother. A bit isolated, definitely need a car, but not a problem for us, we liked going into kinsale to shop. Definitely going back, hopefully longer next time”

Great group getaway close to town

We spent a lovely 3 days at the house, where the scenic property was idyllic. It would be easy to spend a full day just lounging in the comfort all around. The kitchen is well-equipped for serving large meals and cooking. Lots of serviceware, including glasses for wine, champagne etc. we were a group of 6 but it would be spectacular with a full house. It is a short easy drive into the charming town of Kinsale and Ryan provided a great list of suggested restaurants and pubs. Owner was very responsive. I would absolutely stay there again. One note, while the 4 bedrooms downstairs all have their own bathrooms, the four bedrooms upstairs share one bathroom. Also no shampoo or shower gel is provided so you need to bring that. It is absolutely a charming vintage jewel that is well-maintained. The dining room was my favorite room in the house - the pictures represent the house well and the grounds are even better in the light of day. A perfect Irish holiday. ”
