September 2025Charming Alpine Retreat
We had a very comfortable stay at this cute little Alpine chalet set in the hills looking down on to St Gervais and up to Mont Blanc. Although you could walk down to the village, the walk up would be a bit steep, and I would suggest a car to fully explore the area. The interior of the Chalet is homely and cosy, with very comfortable beds. The highlight for us was the exterior. The pool area and the outside mountain bar with heating was really lovely and the sauna warmed us up on cooler days. The property is obviously rented out and there were a couple of signs of wear and tear, but nothing to detract from our stay. We really liked Chamonix and Megeve and some of the restaurants in St. Gervais were very good. Source and La Galeta being our favourites. It pains me to say it, coming from Switzerland, but French mountain food is really delicious, and we drove home with a few kilos of French raclette to take home! Guilliame and Marion were always available and were very welcoming hosts. Thank you. ”
