Great Stay
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage in Highlands through Thirdhome. The home was incredibly easy to access and perfectly located just minutes from downtown, which made going out to dinner, shopping, and attending local events so convenient. Highlands itself is such a charming, quaint town with great shopping and so much character. We traveled with four couples and our kids, and the home was extremely child-friendly. The large property gave everyone space to relax and explore, and the fire pit was a favorite spot to unwind after days spent downtown. The beds were very comfortable, and the home had all the amenities you need to truly feel at home. Everything was thoughtfully set up, clean, and welcoming. The house manager was incredibly helpful and on top of every detail, which made the stay seamless and stress-free. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and a home we would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a cozy, well-located getaway in Highlands. Helen Coquin daughter of member Wade Shealy”

September 2025Spacious and Charming Farmhouse
We love the Highlands, North Carolina, area, so this home's location was perfect for us , only two miles from town. But if you wanted to stay on property, there are abundant amenities: a huge fire pit, corn hole, outdoor dining tables, a terrace around the grill, and several porches with comfortable seating. Inside, there are big screen televisions and a very spacious kitchen and dining room; certainly a large party could be well accommodated and entertained. The property manager and owner were extremely attentive to our needs and very thoughtful in their hospitality. Really enjoyed our stay!”
