March 2026Cube A2
The views of the Bay of Kotor from The Cube are breathless! These alone make a stay here well worth it. The air temperature wasn't conducive for swimming but I can only imagine how lovely it would be to admire the bay from the pool. François was a gracious host and was quite conscientious with regard to the comfort of our stay. He was quick to respond to any inquiries we had and was most helpful when we had an automobile repair issue. The home is very modern and new construction which made for a relaxing stay. The only downside to the property is that the interior stairs are dangerous for anyone with any balance or vision issues as the bottom few steps have no railing and this area is open to the floor. Should one lose one's footing it would result in injury. We were extra careful to hold the railing as we ascended and, more importantly, descended, but the final few steps were always a concern for us. The bay will be lovely to swim in when the weather warms but this is not an area to spend hours on the beach and sunbathe. The beach is small and rocky, not like the larger, sandy beaches of Croatia or Italy. Go for a swim in the bay and then return to the pool deck to sunbathe and enjoy the pool and the magnificent views of the sea and the surrounding mountains. Be sure to hike to the small church on top of the hill (continue walking on the road, past the Cube) as the views from the church are spectacular!”
