Some pluses and some minuses

The home is a nice home and it is fairly well equipped with kitchen utensils. There were a lot of bugs (cockroaches, tiny ants on the counters at all times and fruit flies). Coincidentally my best friend has rented the home next door for 3 years in a row and has never had a problem with bugs. The other complaint I had is the technology in the 2 living rooms is very old. The bedrooms have nice small flat screen TVs, but frankly we couldn't get most of them to work. In a home with 9 bedrooms, we could only get one DVD to work. I couldn't find any TV to hook up my Roku. Finally, the other complaint I had was the owners were unresponsive. My initial request took them 2 weeks to respond. They were apologetic, however while at the home, they never responded to my emails with complaints of the bugs and the technology. You need to bring your own linens, towels, dish rags, paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, laundry detergent, garbage bags and more. The owner didn't make this clear to me. I was told I needed to bring my own sheets and towels, but I didn't realize the home had nothing else. It would have been nice had they provided me with a list of what I needed to provide. This was a surprise as we fully stock our rental homes with everything, including linens. Please note this is the first negative review I have written in all of the 3rd Homes I have stayed (this is my 6th). On a more positive note, the home is right on the ocean and is in a very good location. Walking distance to a couple of restaurants/bars. There are 9 beddrooms and 5 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, and 2 Living rooms. The hot tub and the laundry room are located in the underground parking garage. I would stay here again if they made the simple fixes of addressing the bug situation and the technology. ”
