This guide is a bit detailed, but we’ve thoughtfully included everything in one place so you can enjoy a seamless experience without having to look elsewhere. Parking: Guests may park in the driveway or on the street. The driveway is not suitable for heavy moving or delivery trucks—damage caused by oversized vehicles is the guest’s responsibility.

Access Code: Sent via message ~18 hours before arrival.

Self Check-In: Use the front door with the Yale lock for entry. Your unique access code will be sent via message approximately 18 hours before arrival.

🏡 House Rules
Events & Gatherings: Prior written approval required. Unauthorized events result in fines ($500–$5,000 or more) plus city/safety fees and host inconvenience fees ($100–$1,000 or more).

Quiet Hours: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM.

Smoking & Vaping: Smoking of any kind is not permitted anywhere on the premises. Any violation may result in substantial fines and/or immediate termination of your stay, with forfeiture of all booking costs.

Shoes Outdoors: To help us maintain the luxurious condition of The Showstopper, please remove all shoes before entering The Showstopper. A shoe stand is provided for your convenience. High heels, stilettos, or other shoes that may scratch floors should especially be removed and worn outside only. Any damage to the wood floors will result in additional charges.

Amenities & Furnishings: Handle all appliances, electronics, and furniture carefully. Report damages promptly.

Use of Property Equipment: Any use of furniture, games, or equipment within The Showstopper is at the renter/guest’s own judgment and discretion. Guests are responsible for any damage or injury resulting from misuse.

Couches & Upholstery: Our sofas are light-colored and carefully maintained to ensure a luxurious experience for all guests. To keep them in pristine condition, please avoid sitting on the sofas with wet clothing, swimwear, or any items that may transfer color or dye (such as towels, workout clothes, or clothing with strong pigments, from the pool or otherwise).
In Case of Spills on Furniture or Upholstery:
If any spills occur during your stay, please notify us within 24 hours. Our professional cleaning service will attempt to remove stains at no cost to you. If the stain cannot be fully removed and causes permanent damage, the associated cleaning charges will be passed on to you. Failing to inform us promptly may result in higher costs.
Dining & Food: To help us maintain a clean and comfortable environment, please enjoy all meals and snacks only in the dining or kitchen areas. This ensures that The Showstopper remains pristine and enjoyable for all guests.

Wall Decorations & Fixtures: Do not hang, attach, or remove any items from the walls, fixtures, or furniture. This helps us maintain the home’s design and prevents damage that may result in repair or replacement fees.

Drapes & Window Treatments: Use the remote mounted near the wall switches to open and close. Do not operate manually, including pulling, tugging, or adjusting by hand. These are custom-installed and costly to repair, and any damages caused by manual operation will be charged to the guest.

🏊 Pool & Spa
No glass, food, or breakables in and around the water.

Children must be supervised at all times.

Waterproof swimwear is encouraged for children to prevent accidents.

Any pool/spa misuse requiring service will be charged to the guest, along with inconvenience and loss-of-use fees if future reservations are impacted.

Pool Safety Alarm: For safety, each door leading to the pool has an alarm as required by Scottsdale city code.
Gray magnets on each door trigger the pool alarm when the door is opened

Alarm Bypass: Press and hold the gray rubber button labeled “BYPASS” to temporarily disengage the pool alarm. If the door is not closed within 10–15 seconds, the alarm will continue to sound until the “BYPASS” button is pressed again and the door is properly closed.

Tampering with or removing the batteries is strictly prohibited; any required replacement due to tampering will result in a service fee often greater than $250.

Note: Scottsdale enforces strict compliance with pool alarm laws, so we must uphold this standard for everyone’s safety.

🎮 Special Spaces & Equipment
Garage Game Room: Black curtains create a cozy theater-style ambience, please do not touch or attempt to adjust them, as they are delicate.

Golf Simulator: Do not move the simulator or projector setup—calibration is precise. Only hit balls directly into the screen. Any misuse causing injury to any guest or damage to any property is the sole responsibility of the renter.

Ping Pong: Paddles and balls are provided.

Electronics & Accessories: Please ensure all remotes, chargers, and hair dryers are returned to their respective rooms before checkout.

Our professional trash service will roll bins to the street, so you don’t need to worry. Please don’t be alarmed if service providers access bins on Sunday (recycling) and Tuesday (trash) evenings.

🔒 Security
There are no indoor cameras. Outdoor security cameras are in place to protect the property and valuable backyard amenities. Please keep doors and windows locked when leaving. Do not attempt to arm or tamper with the alarm system. Any accidental activation that leads to police dispatch will result in guest liability for all fines (often exceeding $100).

🧳 Check-Out Procedures
Check-out: 11:00 AM unless arranged otherwise.

Towels: Leave used towels on the bathroom floor.

Dishes: Load dishwasher and run cycle.

Furniture: Return items to original locations.

Electronics & Chargers: Return all to respective rooms.

Appliances & Fire Features: Ensure faucets, grill, fire features are off.

Trash & Recycling: Please gather all trash from bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, garage, and all common areas, both indoors and outdoors. Place each type of trash in its respective bin (black = trash, Mauve/Pink= recycling) located near the sports court area. This helps us keep The Showstopper in pristine condition for all guests.

Keys: The entire property is keyless for your convenience. In the event a physical key has been issued or used, please ensure it is returned to the lockbox before check-out. Lost or unreturned keys may result in replacement fees.

Outdoor Equipment: Please return all pool toys, chairs, umbrellas, and outdoor accessories to where they were placed originally after use. This helps us keep the outdoor spaces safe, organized, and enjoyable for future guests.

Final Lock-Up: Ensure all doors/windows are closed and locked.
