**An Exceptional Oceanfront Stay in Duck, NC**

Our stay at Leo and Gwen’s beautiful oceanfront home in Duck was truly memorable. The standout feature was the location—a spectacular stretch of beach in a quieter, less busy part of the Outer Banks, within an exclusive yet welcoming community. It was the perfect setting to relax, recharge, and enjoy the natural beauty of the coast. The home’s layout was another highlight. With the living room, kitchen, and outside decks all on the top floor, the space flowed effortlessly and became a natural gathering place for family activities. At the same time, the home was spacious enough for everyone to find a quiet corner for reading, relaxing, or simply enjoying the views. One particularly special feature was being able to watch both the sunrise and sunset over the ocean simply by moving to the opposite side of the house. The bedrooms were generously sized, each with its own ensuite bathroom, providing everyone with comfort, privacy, and convenience. The wide, well-lit stairways were also a thoughtful feature, making the home especially comfortable and accessible for our group of older adults. And, of course, the beach itself was wonderful—ideal for peaceful early-morning walks and relaxing late-night strolls with the sound of the waves in the background. Leo and Gwen’s home offers a wonderful combination of location, comfort, thoughtful design, and tranquility. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this home to other ThirdHome members looking for a special Outer Banks experience. ”

Beachfront PERFECTION

Oh my goodness. Where do I begin. My husband, our four young children and 2 sets of grandparents were fortunate enough to snag Leo and Gwen's magical home in Duck fir the 4th of July week. Not only were they wonderful hosts but the home itself is beautiful, in a quiet enclave in between Duck and Corolla and had so much space for our family to have a much needed escape from our DC pace of life. Our kids had an epic week of playing on the beach but also exploring the side yards and edges of the dunes (who knew rabbits and box turtles live at the beach??) and with easy access to toen, we of course were able to participate in Duck Donuts and all of the other fun traditions OBX has to offer. A heartfelt thanks to Leo and Gwen for sharing their beautiful home!”

The property is beautifully situated between the wild horse/4x4 beaches of Corolla and the touristy town of Duck with its great selection of restaurants. Days on the beach were enjoyable with plenty of beach equipment and the home has everything needed for a great vacation stay. Thanks to owner Leo for being very helpful and accommodating! ”
