Reviews
UNC graduation
We were fortunate to stay in this great townhome in the heart of Chapel Hill for the week of graduation. It was so convenient and much more relaxing than staying in a busy hotel. Plenty of space, well equipped and one block off Franklin Street. The rooftop patio was great for decompressing with a glass of wine after a busy weekend of graduation festivities. Morgan was a great host. Go Heels!”
Tall and thin
This 3rdHome property is a 4 story walk up which might be a problem for some. When we arrived (in January) the temperature was in the 50s and it took 2 days for it to get up to 68. We enjoyed going to the UNC basketball game, but the seats were pretty high up. If you are a die hard UNC fan this might be a good option since it is hard to get any tickets tot he Dan Dome. ”
A slice of heaven
This townhouse is just delightful. Morgan is the sweetest host. The property is on the best side of chapel hill: walkable to restaurants, bars, and the university but distant enough to be away from the college crowd and noise sometimes associated with college people. Having been a UNC Alum I was in heaven with all of the basketball memorabilia. The house is exquisitely appointed and just really lovely. We had a wonderful week. The roof terrace is the perfect way to have that last glass of wine for the evening as the sun sets. ”
Chapel Hill Getaway
Our family had a wonderful time in Chapel Hill. Morgan was very accommodating and his townhouse was perfectly appointed. Great location too, just off Franklin St. Seats were amazing with parking pass a plus to see the tarheels. A great fun getaway!!!”
Perfect Location!
The townhouse in Chapel Hill is perfectly located near Franklin Street for shopping and excellent restaurants while a few blocks away from the beautiful historic UNC campus. Visiting this area near Christmas was a real treat with all of the lights, decorations and seasonal activities. Morgan the owner had a welcoming packet arranged for our arrival, including maps, suggested things to do, southern snacks basket and two bottles of wine. The townhouse is a tour of UNC basketball history, with framed articles and media coverage of their road to success. The two bedrooms and baths are well appointed and private due to each located on a separate floor. The roof top deck has a wonderful Birdseye view of the quaint surrounding downtown area. This is a perfect spot to visit because the location is near Raleigh, Cary and Durham. After full days of shopping, visiting the Duke Energy Center, ice skating downtown Raleigh, watching the men's UNC basketball game, we would cuddle up on the comfortable living room couch in front of the gas fireplace. Add this one to your list, super fun area to visit and a comfortable townhome that places you in the heart of North Carolina history and charm!”
