Description

Timeless Elegance in the Tuscan Hills

Perched high in the forested hills that form the serene border between Tuscany and Umbria, this exceptional 16th-century residence commands a position of rare prestige and tranquillity.

The property, a testament to timeless craftsmanship, is enveloped by six hectares of its own private grounds, offering an immersive experience in the area's celebrated natural beauty. From its elevated stance at 730 metres above sea level, the villa surveys a sweeping panorama of the Arezzo hills, a landscape that shifts in hue and shadow with the passing of the sun, creating a living masterpiece visible from nearly every corner of the estate.

The villa itself is a harmonious blend of profound historical character and contemporary luxury, meticulously restored to offer an unparalleled standard of living. Spanning three interconnected floors, the interior is a gallery of refined taste, where original architectural details are complemented by carefully selected modern furnishings. The ground floor unfolds into a flowing open-plan living area, including a generous kitchen that opens onto a shaded pergola, perfect for al fresco dining. Six air-conditioned bedrooms and elegant reception rooms provide generous space and privacy for a discerning clientele.

The outdoor environment is a carefully curated extension of the home, designed for both grand entertaining and quiet contemplation. The grounds, laid out on terraced levels, are a tapestry of manicured lawns, vibrant flower borders filled with roses and hydrangeas, and the fragrant presence of aromatic herbs. A separate, fenced pool area, located one hundred and fifty metres from the main villa, is a secluded sanctuary. The rectangular heated pool, with its panoramic views and stone terrace furnished with sunbeds and umbrellas, is complemented by a wooden pool house featuring a minibar and a shaded seating area.

This property represents a rare offering for the most sophisticated buyer: a private, world-class estate that provides an authentic connection to the land and history of Italy, all while ensuring the highest levels of modern comfort and seclusion. The presence of caretakers in a separate annex guarantees complete privacy while ensuring the estate is impeccably maintained, allowing for an effortless enjoyment of this extraordinary retreat.
