Description

Lanherne | Cornish Country House Chic

Lanherne is a distinguished Cornish country house shaped by centuries of history, combining architectural character with an inviting sense of comfort and understated elegance. Set within the peaceful Vale of Lanherne, the home is designed for memorable gatherings and accommodates up to 12 adults or children, together with two toddlers under the age of two.

The house features six beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with a flexible super king zip-and-link bed configuration. Four bedrooms benefit from ensuite bathrooms, while additional facilities include a standalone shower room and two separate WCs, one upstairs and one downstairs. Two travel cots and two high chairs can also be provided on request.

The interiors offer generous spaces for both entertaining and relaxation. The elegant drawing room creates a refined setting for conversation, while the snug provides a more informal retreat. At the heart of the home is the spacious kitchen and dining room, designed for shared meals and relaxed gatherings.

Outside, the large enclosed garden offers ample space to enjoy the Cornish countryside, while private parking is available for up to five cars. The property is also pet friendly, welcoming up to two well-behaved and fully house-trained dogs.

Its location combines rural tranquillity with easy access to Cornwall’s celebrated north coast. Watergate Bay and Mawgan Porth are both nearby, offering excellent opportunities for surfing, coastal walks, beach days, and dining by the sea, while the surrounding countryside and nearby villages provide a quieter contrast to the dramatic coastline.
