Ground floor unit not the best

We had some ant-like small bugs. Also room had noise from next unit which was quite loud and disturbing. Resort itself had nice pools with good views at pools. Disappointed the we did not get gym access for some reason. ”

A Slice of Paradise at Hacienda Encantada

My recent stay at Hacienda Encantada's 2 Bedroom Suite was nothing short of magical. This resort is an absolute gem, and I can't stop raving about it. The suite itself was spacious, beautifully appointed, and equipped with all the comforts of home. The stunning views from our private balcony were the perfect backdrop for mornings with a cup of coffee. We were close to the beach, yet nestled in a serene environment. The on-site amenities were top-notch, from the delicious dining options to the spa, which provided a blissful escape. The staff were incredibly accommodating, and their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident in every interaction. Hacienda Encantada is more than just a place to stay; it's a destination where relaxation and adventure meet. The resort is beautiful, we upgraded to 3-bedroom, spectacular views, infinity pool and hottub just above us. Many free activities on the resort. We enjoyed a lovely dinner at one of the many restaurants and enjoyed the on site spa.”

The condo was very dated. It totally felt like a timeshare all inclusive resort. Lots of loud, bombed people by pool bar. Our balconies were above pool bar. Beautiful views of whales and the Cabos rocks. Never stayed in a 3rd home like this. Not sure why they’re part of it. ”

Hacienda Encantada

The condos are run down and need to be updated. They are dated and furniture is uncomfortable. The beds and linens are fine and maid service excellent. Both our condos smelled mildewy. The food is marginal and I advise going off the resort for meals. The gym is very small, the pool furniture is falling apart and the umbrellas need to be updated so that they can withstand the normal every day wind. Third Home advertised these as "The Residences" but actually the are the dated condos in the hotel section and not the new residences on the property. Given all the beautiful resorts in Cabo, this one is disappointing and misleading.”

Decent, not great

There was confusion during the check in process, my group of four couples thought we were getting a residence, which is an area near the hotel that looks much more modern and well kept, but instead they gave us a pair of two bedroom condos, part of the hotel property, which were thankfully, located side-by-side on the same floor. I would describe the property as slightly above average. The condos were spacious, a king bedroom, a decent living area with a kitchenette, and adjoining bedroom with bathroom, and another powder room that featured a full shower. It also had a decent lanai area with a nice view of the pool and the ocean and beyond. However – The furniture was a little dated, the rooms smelled a little bit musty, the pool areas were a little bit worse for wear, and the on property restaurants left much to be desired. It was disappointing because Cabo is full of beautiful properties, definite four and five star properties, and this was a three star property, can't really be described as anything beyond that. The location is good, just about 10-15 minutes from town and in the middle of the hotel zone, although it does not feature a swimmable beach, there is a beautiful beach just six or eight minutes up the road. Bottom line: we would not stay there again unless we were given an actual residence, not a hotel condominium. Our next trip to Cabo will have to be at a location which is more upscale than Hacienda Encantata ”

Hacienda Encantada is comfortable but Not great

Large accommodations, it Does not accommodate for 8 people comfortably. Only 6. Very friendly staff. Food and restaurant selections are ok. No beach access. No kids club. The views are great! ”

Great oceanfront vacation!

Beautiful place loved the staff there too so close to everything! Shuttles made it extra easy if desired to use instead of driving or taxis into town. Loved the multiple pools and the rooms were very nice and clean would recommend highly!”

Beautiful Condo with a View

This condo (2711) is large and very accommodating for a 2 bedroom. My daughter and I spent her spring break there. The covered porch w fan is very relaxing. There is a full kitchen and daily maid service. We enjoyed walking the property to dining venues and various pools, but for non-walkers, golf cart transit is available by request. This may be the only drawback for some. Personnel was professional and extremely courteous, and we found the food to be great at the 3 dinner restaurant choices. We went scuba diving, ATV riding, and on a kayak/snorkel excursion. These vendors will come and pick you up at the property, so a car is not required unless you desire the flexibility to travel to Todos Santos or other sites. All in all, we give it 5 stars.”

Great visit

Our stay at Hacienda Encantada was fabulous. We stayed in Phase 3, the newest phase, and had wonderful ocean views. The rooms are very spacious and super clean. The people here were so helpful and very nice.The pools are fantastic, with gorgeous ocean views and swim up bars. The food was some of the best we eaten in all of our travels. We would definitely recommend the Hacienda Encantada and already plan to go back again soon!! Kimberly Moore”

Great Cabo Location

Laurel and I had a great time at Hacienda Encantada, the service was great and the people very friendly and easy to work with in every aspect of our stay. The place does not have a beach to swim into, but it has amazing views and great pools to enjoy. ”

Hacienda Encantada

It is a large development. The trip advisor reviews rightly criticize a lack of chairs available by the pool. Cabo is known for great weather and gorgeous views over the ocean. Our condo did not have a view of the ocean which is a significant flaw particularly when there are insufficient chairs by the pool. Our condo was situated immediately above the kids pool. While not the best placement for us, it could work very nicely if you were travelling with young children. Breakfast was excellent, and came with a beautiful view over the ocean. Lunch and dinner food is all inclusive medium quality. Our recommendations would be to insure you get an ocean view condo, and go outside the resort if you are seeking a higher quality dinner. ”

Wow! What a view!

The view from every place on the property is amazing! But! The people working at the resort were even better. They were the nicest, most helpful wait staff we have had in a long time. We loved the unit with its built in hot tub on the lanai. We will definitely return soon. ”
