This six-bedroom, five-bath historic residence in Petersburg accommodates up to 11 guests across three levels. Originally built in 1792, Strawberry Hill combines late Georgian and Federal-style architectural details with spacious interiors, a front lawn and established gardens near historic downtown Petersburg.

The property includes four principal suites, each with a bedroom, sitting area and private bathroom, along with the separate Hearth Room. Guest accommodations are individually climate controlled and include smart TVs, Nespresso machines, cotton linens, goose down duvets and terrycloth robes. A light continental breakfast with coffee, tea, fruit and breakfast bars is provided each morning.

Sleeping arrangements include two king bedrooms, two queen bedrooms, one full bedroom and one twin bedroom. The Friend & Folly Suite includes a queen bedroom plus a separate sitting room that doubles as the twin bedroom. Its adjacent bathroom features a double vanity, Jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The Hearth Room occupies the English basement and has a separate exterior entrance.

The Hearth Room is the property's only pet-friendly accommodation, with prior approval required for pets. The property is not wheelchair accessible, and stairs are required to enter the building. The Barksdale Suite is the only guest suite located on the first floor.

Strawberry Hill also operates as an inn and event venue. Outdoor events may occasionally take place during a stay, typically on weekends, with music and lighting permitted until 9 PM. Guests are contacted in advance if an event is scheduled. Historic downtown Petersburg offers restaurants, cafés, antiques and galleries nearby, while the Appomattox River and Petersburg National Battlefield provide additional opportunities for recreation and exploring the area's history.
