This is our third stay at the villa, and it was every bit as wonderful as our prior two stays, even with a change in ownership. Maria, Juan and Flor are thankfully still there. What we and everyone else has already commented as positives are spot on. We have also been to the charming city of Puerto Vallarta many times, and find new things to see and do every time we visit. To note, this villa is perfectly located on the south side of town where it is mostly residential and much more tropical, yet very close to downtown with easy to access should you desire this. We find the overall city and area to be very safe. Thank you for the pleasure of our stay. ”

Wonderful week in paradise

We recently returned from a wonderful week in this villa, and it is one of the best homes we have stayed in through Third Home. It is ideally located on the south side of PV (which we prefer since it is more tropical), yet only about 7 minutes into downtown and the romantic zone where many good restaurants and boutiques are should you even want to venture out. Even better is that the villa is perched just above the ocean, yet has private access to a private sandy beach. And, it is along the main highway, yet offers total privacy behind gates, walls, and beautiful courtyards, so we did not experience street noise. The home is also wonderfully furnished and decorated with authentic art, accessories and furniture throughout. Our meals were served on beautiful and colorful talavera plates, paired with festive hand blown glasses. The master bedroom and bathroom are quite large, and have a nice veranda and open air shower with amazing ocean view. The other two bedrooms are well sized, although one is less like a master bedroom size, but has an enormous bathroom. Each bedroom has air conditioning that works if you close up the doors. There are many fans throughout the entire villa since much of it is open air, or at least when doors are open. The home is perfect for three couples, or a family, although probably older kids since there are many steps and much is open. The entire home has amazing ocean and coastline views, including those of Los Arcos. The sun sets directly in front. The lower level has a small but adequate pool that is right over the water. The area for sunning and the adjacent bar with fully stocked frig of ice cold drinks is all that you need. To finish off an amazing day and vacation was the very attentive staff. The owner, Sharon, was very professional and responsive from the get go, and you can see how this carries through to her staff. Maria and Flor wore pretty mexican dresses each day, and Maria prepared amazing meals by Maria that were are good as eating out at a fine dining establishment. Flor kept the home in very clean condition, despite it being open air and a bit rustic in some respects, which only add to the charm. Linens seemed high quality and were soft. Juan also was very helpful throughout the stay, is at your beckon call, and also keeps the home in immaculate condition. The stay includes two meals a day and snacks, plus housekeeping and you just have to tip them (we left more than double what was suggested since they were great). They are off on Sundays but can prepare meals in advance or for an extra fee, come more often or prepare additional meals, but we had plenty between leftovers or going out a few times. When we went out for dinner, we had them prepare lunch instead. They checked with us and shopped almost daily, so everything was prepared very fresh. The team also works with an outside company if you need private transportation or interested in special excursions. They also arranged for us to have massages en suite. It should be noted that the home is part of a 4 home attached complex, each home has its own private entrance, floorplan, and offers almost complete privacy from one another. The home to the left can be rented (from the neighbor) and combined if you need more space (they gave us a tour). There is a common area stunning staircase and elevator for the 4 villas, and a a guard who stays most of the evenings at the front entrance. It felt safe, as does PV in general, and more safe than most other areas we have traveled to. We are therefore very much looking forward to a return trip we booked for February! ”

We left considering them friends as their warm and attentive hospitality was beyond our expectations. They were fun and so professional at the same time. The home in itself is spectacular with incredible ocean views from every vantage point and an optimal indoor out door living experience! The interiors are comfy and the art is fun and cheeky and authentically Mexico!! We loved it so much that we booked it again a few weeks later!!! Sharon, the owners hospitality was incredible! Villa Azul Celeste was one of the most amazing and relaxing vacation experiences we've had!!! From moment one Sharon was so friendly and communicative on the property and things to know prior to our arrival. Once we arrived we knew we were in heaven! Three beautifully decorated floors of bliss! Sharon has paid attention to every detail. It felt like our true home away from home for 2 weeks! Now let me talk about our actual stay. Villa Azul Celeste is located a mere 5-10 minutes south of the actual town of PV. It was so easy to pop into our rental car (not needed btw as Uber is in abundance) and head into town. It's so easy to park and walk around everywhere. The town is very quaint and everyone is so friendly. You can find all the shops you need - from the supermarket, drug store, restaurants to clothing and art shops. We came home with some wonderful pieces of art! The Villa itself is perched on a cliff...with a beautiful and relaxing private plunge pool (where we spent most of our time) to a short 15 steps down to a nearly private beach. We fished off the rocks, watched the crabs scuttle around and were fortunate enough to view dolphins jumping in the bay. Aside from the villa and wildlife, Juan, Maria and Flor were AMAZING!!!! Juan took care of us at all times, making and serving margaritas, equipping us with fishing gear and all around helping with any questions or requests we had during our stay. Maria spoiled us with her cooking...allowing us to indulge in almost every Mexican dish she could think of, while also exposing us to her version of filet mignon and mashed potatoes. My daughter had her 7th birthday during our trip and Maria made a homemade chocolate cake to celebrate. She and Juan decorated the villa with balloons and even gave my girl a birthday tiara and sash. She was SO happy! Flor took care of our housekeeping and laundry. It was so nice to have a freshly made bed and clean clothes every day! She was a godsend and even allowed us to come home with no dirty clothes. That is worth every penny! All in all our stay was magical! We would highly recommend Villa Azul Celeste to anyone wanting a relaxing vacation, filled with amazing sunsets, spectacular food, fantastic service, in an all around beautiful location! ”

Unbelievable!! The house, the view, and the staff. Wow! We loved every second of this vacation. It was very relaxing. Maria and Flo cooked the most wonderful meals and Juan made sure we had plenty of margaritas! Monse was a wonderful concierge and took care of all our excursions. Third Home Gem

Beautiful Villa, authentic Mexican art, furnishings and architecture. Very comfortable , spectacular views of ocean from everywhere in villa, amazing sunsets and perfect weather. Staff of 4 incredibly nice and accommodating. Set into the cliff directly over the ocean, so if ocean breezes and sound of surf are your thing then book this villa. Maria is an amazing chef and Flor keeps the villa spotless. ”

Villa Azul Celeste was everything that we had hoped for - beautiful and luxurious home with plenty of space for all, stunning views of the ocean from all levels, easy access to a very private beach, and a staff that took care of all of our needs and desires. Maria cooked up such fabulous meals for us daily that our children didn't want to go into town at all; Raul and Flor kept the villa clean at all times; and Juan was the best who was always there to help with anything, whether it was launching kayaks out to the ocean, grabbing an ice box with drinks for an afternoon at the beach, getting an extra bottle of special tequila or beer from town, etc., etc. We had the most relaxing week of eating well, lounging at the pool, visiting the beach, and enjoying this spectacular villa and vista. A Little Piece of Paradise

We had a wonderful week at Villa Azul Celeste. The villa is beautifully decorated in a traditional Mexican motif. Sharon (the owner) was very helpful responding to questions about local attractions and restaurants. All three bedrooms are spacious with wonderful views of the ocean and/or infinity edge pool. The palatial master suite includes an enormous bathroom with a private open air shower overlooking the Pacific. There is access to a small private beach with snorkeling directly in front of the villa. The staff is AMAZING, so friendly and accommodating; Maria created the daily menus with our guidance and prepared delicious meals, Flora tidied up our bedrooms, and Juan and Raul assisted with meals and daily upkeep of the villa. The location is very private but only a short drive to town. The bedrooms are air-conditioned while the public areas are open air; fans are provided, but for those travelers sensitive to heat I would recommend avoiding the hotter months. ”
