Wonderful Home for younger and older children

My family had a wonderful time at the Golden Sunset Home. Before our stay, Laurie was so helpful and answered all my questions. During my stay, Natalie was wonderful. The house is stocked full of toys if you have small children. The pool was a hit with my toddlers as well as my 12 year old. Location is ideal. ”

Seattle Golden Sunset

A great name for this home as the sunsets were fabulous looking out from the decks or the living area. The view was one of the best features of this wonderful home. The best feature for our grandkids was the indoor swimming pool and slide from the jacuzzi. It was used on a daily basis. There were plenty of pool toys to keep our kids occupied. The home was a "family" home. We had a large selection of board games to play each day. The TV's were set up with Apple TV so easy to find something to watch. Nathan and Natalie, owners kids, lived next door and were always available to take care of things and answer questions. We were close enough to downtown Seattle to easily take in all the sights and we did an excursion each day, even to a Mariner's game. The only negative was for hot days (unusual for Seattle) there was no air conditioning so we kept all the windows and doors open and the fans helped as well. Thank you for a great stay!”

Our stay at the Golden Sunset Home in Seattle

The Golden Sunset Home is perfectly situated overlooking the Puget Sound, and a short fifteen minute drive from downtown Seattle. The home was well-equipped and very comfortable. Although it has a hot tub and a pool, we didn't use it because the weather was so perfect during our stay. About five minutes away, we enjoyed several events in Ballard (farmers market, nice restaurants, and a dessert place called Hot Cakes). Overall, we had a very memorable stay in the Golden Sunset Home, where the sunsets are truly spectacular.”

Spectacular View

This was a great house for exploring Seattle and nearby islands. The owner and her daughter (caretaker), were very helpful with suggestions for things to do and restaurant recommendations. The home is very convenient to all the tourist attractions in Seattle, but is located in a charming neighborhood. The views from this home are spectacular! Our boys loved the hot tub and slide down into the pool. We would get home from sightseeing and the kids would disappear downstairs to the pool and teen room for hours. We enjoyed sitting out on the upper deck watching the sunset and sailboats in the Puget Sound. The fire pit was a great amenity as well. You won't regret staying at this home!”

Spectacular!

This is a spectacular home in every sense of the word. Comfortable, luxurious, stunning views, well kept, full and complete kitchen, roomy and an unbelievable hot tub with slide into a warm heated indoor pool. Extremely comfortable beds and large new TV's with all cable services scattered throughout the house. My wife and I could not have found a more perfect home to spend with our two grown children and 4 year old grandson. Huge picture windows overlooking the Puget Sound with the snow covered mountains in the distance provided an unbelievable view every day. We walked, good exercise, about 10 minutes to a beautiful park on the beach where our grandson loved the playground and the beach. We were able to drive, if we had wanted, with little traffic to many, many wonderful restaurants; though we spent most of our time on the beach, or in the pool. There were many toys for our little guy to play with. A little coffee shop literally across the street. We never felt the need to leave the home but if we had, we were close to many Seattle landmark attractions. This was a perfect week for our family and would definitely recommend for anyone looking to stay at a beautiful home in the Seattle area. The only issue would be that you may not want to leave the residence!. ”
