This magnificent estate is a pleasant 15 minutes drive from the city of Rotorua and is the perfect option for the discerning traveller. Away from the main visitor hub, set in lush green countryside, the exclusive Lodge provides the ideal base for those wishing to experience New Zealand, the spiritual home of Maori Culture and its world-renowned geothermal wonders – and for those wishing to explore the wider Bay of Plenty region, with its lakes, rivers, mountains, forest and beaches.
All Hamurana Lodge Boutique Hotel accommodations are set within two and three-storey boutique hotel buildings spilling down the hillside. Bright and airy interiors feature large hotel guest rooms and bathrooms. Enchanting views reach over the valley to the mountains and the nearby Lake Rotorua and the sacred Mokoia Island.
Evocative décor includes natural wood and stone finished and a palette inspired by sunshine and flowers. Sleekly designed furnishings, stylish chairs, bright rugs and striking artwork are New Zealand in spirit and contemporary in style.
Work areas support productivity with the latest technology for communication, including FREE high-speed wireless Internet access and telephone. For relaxation, there’s a private bar baskets, a flat screen television and an iPod docking station in each guest room.
The Estate Queen room offers a high level of comfort and shower over bath en-suites. Daily French Petit Dejeuner is included as is complimentary coffee & tea throughout the day, full use of our Lodge facilities and unlimited free WiFi.
