Amazing mountain stay

We absolutely loved our trip to the Sun Peaks Chalet. The chalet had everything we needed, including built in coffee maker, cozy fireplace in the stunning great room, and even a dedicated après bar! Ski right into the back yard, and ski out only a few steps up to the slope. We enjoyed some movies in the media area and definitely made use of the fire table for sunset beverages. The entire place is thoughtfully architected, and even had a cool design surprise on the natural log post that sweeps up three floors from the entrance. Sun Peaks is a fantastic mountain. So much terrain to explore with a cute village to spend some time wandering. I can't even imagine how good the mountain would be on a powder day. 10/10 hope to be back one day.”

The Sherwoods provided all the information we needed clearly and were graciously available for any questions. First time at sun peaks- loved the mountain skiing, gorgeous and quiet. Little village has everything you need for your stay. I only hope to stay again here - one of our best ski vacations - thanks Sherwood Family !”

Beautiful chalet at a great resort.

We stayed at Sun Peaks Chalet and had a wonderful time. The house was ski in out. At the end of the day, we skied right back to the house. Often, one was already in the hot tub and he would greet us with a big smile as we clicked out of our gear. We enjoyed three dinners at home in the super well equipped gourmet kitchen. And were close enough to walk down to the village the other nights and not need to have someone drive. Highly recommend voyageur grill. There is a lot of terrain. While there hasn't been any fresh snow for quite a while, I can easily imagine how great the above treeline skiing would be with fresh snow. ”

Great location at Sun Peaks Resort, ski-in and out; lovely home

This stunning home was located at Sun Peaks Resort, a short 40 min drive north of Kamloops Airport. We normally ski Alta/Snowbird/Park City so were wary of going to an "unknown" resort but we quite pleased by the length of the runs and ample bowls and glades. We also went snowshoeing and cross-country skiing at the Nordic center. The house itself is perfect, with flat panel TVs in every room, large media room, wifi, foos-ball, hot tub serviced daily, all top finishes and appliances, deluxe kitchen set up (granite topped counters, Sub-Zero fridge, Wolf Range and built-in BBQ which we used quite a bit. We stopped at Costco in Kamloops to stock up and then cooked daily, going out on our last night for hearty "Canadian food" at the Voyageur Bistro in the base village - bison burgers, Canadian steaks, braised lamb ... really wonderful experience. We hope to go back to Sun Peaks,”
