July 2025Incredibly peaceful and relaxing.
Koh Jum is an ideal spot for getting very far away from things for a quiet few days. The staff at Koh Jum Beach Villas were always very friendly, welcoming and helpful, and the setting really cannot be beat -- it's extremely private, but with amenities and pleasant public areas for when you want some company, dinner or a cocktail. The bungalow itself was spacious, well-appointed and spotless, as was the pool. This bungalow happens to be very close to the restaurant and bar, but still very private, so it's the best of both worlds -- you can stroll over to to have coffee or a drink and watch/listen to the ocean or simply enjoy some solitude. During low season, Koh Jum is very nearly deserted, but I loved being able to take a bicycle out for a ride whenever I wanted. I expect the staff would have been especially helpful at arranging tours or visits to nearby islands, but I wound up being happy doing a little exploring in the morning and then relaxing and resting the remainder of the day. It was one of the better weeks I've had recently and went a long way toward helping me recuperate from daily life stress. I can't thank KJBV enough. ”
