August 2026A perfect base for discovering St Andrews and Fife
We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful apartment. The location is exceptional — right on the waterfront, beside the cathedral ruins and within an easy walk of the historic heart of St Andrews. The views are wonderful, but what surprised me most was finding myself actually swimming in the sea right in front of the house — something I certainly hadn’t expected from a trip to Scotland! We came without any interest in golf and discovered just how much there is to enjoy beyond the famous courses. The apartment was a wonderful base for exploring the area: we walked the spectacular coastal path from Crail to Anstruther, visited the Isle of May, explored Kellie Castle and its beautiful gardens, and discovered the charming coastal villages of St Monans and Elie, as well as the historic village of Culross. We also enjoyed exploring the university quarter and the fascinating history of St Andrews itself. The apartment is spacious, beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable, with generous living spaces, comfortable bedrooms and a very well-equipped kitchen. We particularly appreciated being able to walk everywhere in St Andrews while also having the freedom to explore the wider Fife coast by car. Steve and Jennifer were wonderful hosts — warm, thoughtful and exceptionally responsive. We also loved the friendly atmosphere among the neighbours, which made the stay feel much more like being part of a community than simply staying in an apartment. A truly memorable stay in a spectacular location. We would happily return.”

July 2026Absolutely Perfect!
This place couldn't have been better. Situated on the waterfront on one side and the Cathedral ruins on the other, the views and location were perfect - easy to walk to shopping and dining. The bedrooms were all spacious with comfortable beds and bedding, with plenty of room for luggage. Bathrooms were all fantastic, modern and spacious. The kitchen was well appointed, with a regular refrigerator, as well one for drinks and a dedicated freezer for ice. The common areas were large and comfortable, plenty of seating for everyone, including a sectional with a view of a large TV. There is also a washing machine and dryer, which was definitely appreciated. Hosts couldn't have been more lovely, we appreciated every attention to detail, as well as their friendly recommendations for the area and quick responses with questions. ”

What a great location for a golfing trip. All St Andrews courses and town are within a 10 min walk. The flat was very nice and perfect for our group of 6. Steve and Jennifer were extremely responsive with our questions. We are already considering a return trip!”
