Villa Bean is a unique property with character, but the accommodations are not what’s pictured in the listing. The pool view is of another villa. The property is very dated. The daily housekeeping was nice and the staff accommodating. ”

Wonderful home in beautiful Koh Samui

We traded this home and spent about 5 nights in Koh Samui. The owner set our family up with his fabulous team who treated us with 5 stars! Morning breakfast and daily cleaning made this a true holiday! Thank you Francisco for providing your wonderful home, near the beach a close golf cart ride away, and your extraordinary staff who helped with dinner reservations, ideas of things to do, and warm hospitality. We loved Thailand and this relaxing beach portion of our trip was just what we needed!”

Villa Mix Up.

We booked Villa Baan Souha, and I was very disappointed to see that the accommodation we were shown was nothing like the property shown on the website, The villa was dark wood inside and out, not the light and airy looking property we were expecting. It was called The Presidential Villa. We were met by Francisco's charming villa manager who explained that we had been put in this villa because it was bigger than Villa Baan Souha, which was next door. We asked to see that villa before we settled in, and when we did, the villa was nothing like the one shown on the website either. After doing some investigation on the Paradise Villa Estate website we found that written descriptions, names and photographs are all muddled up. We stayed in the villa we were put in. It was very spacious ,the beds were comfortable [ one bed was broken and it was mended when we pointed this out], The daily maid, Apple, was delightful. Jane FAWKES”

Presidential Thai villa - not Villa Baan Souha.

The villa we stayed at was not the villa we saw on the Thirdhome website which was very disappointing. Somehow the review images had been confused, and an amalgam of 3 different villas had been created giving the appearance of a single villa of much greater attractiveness. We were offered a bigger villa as a substitute but this did not make up for the lack of modern facilities. For example, the kitchen was very poorly equipped, all of the internal walls and ceilings and were made of dark brown teak which was a bit depressing. Combined with poor lighting this gave a very gloomy outlook which with unusually wet weather rather spoilt the overall feel. On the positive side the staff were great, Apple & Ong could not have been better, Apple especially was charming and worked very hard. Ong responded quickly to all our requests which was very helpful. The villa WiFi worked well most of the time and at a good speed. The locality is average for Koh Samui, but that accepts that generally the island is unsophisticated. The pool & garden were maintained daily to a very good standard. Sheets and bedding were very good which combined with the daily service made sleeping very satisfactory. Air con very good. Panu the on site taxi driver was another great benefit. We never saw or spoke to Francisco which was disappointing however he did contact us by email to ask if everything was OK.”

Koh Samui Paradise Retreat

This villa was a wonderful relaxing retreat in Koh Samui. The owner Francisco was so easy to work with. He owns several villas and actually had upgraded us to a larger Villa upon arrival. We did not even really use 1 level. It was so spacious and well set up. The pool in the back was where we spent a lot of time. Staff was so sweet and helpful. The manager Ong was excellent in helping us and answering any questions. I highly recommend this Villa. A trip to remember. ”

Fantastic Villa, great location.

Our stay was great. The location of this villa is perfect, off the main road but an easy walk to town and beaches. The staff was very helpful and cooked us some amazing meals and were very helpful with information and activity arrangements. Would definitely recommend this to anyone. Great for families or couples. ”

Incredible Place and Owner

I stayed at this lovely villa September 10-17. Francisco the owner has multiple properties located within close proximity to each other. I note this because Villa Baan Souha was being cleaned by staff when I arrived and rather than make me wait, they placed me in another larger property for several days, after which I moved to Villa Baan Souha. His on site manager is an absolute gem; she is always available to assist you with any request. Daily breakfast is provided to order and promptly. The property itself is as represented by the owner. Two of the three bedrooms are master bedrooms and the property has lots of room for 2 couples and children. There is a full size kitchen for those who wish to stay in and cook. The grounds are well cared. A very nice pool for those who wish to stay on site and just relax. I recommend this property for a stay on Koh Samui. A little about the island - not sure about total square miles; however it's around 90 kilometers or 60 miles if one were to drive around the island. I drove a fair amount of its roads and truly enjoyed the island, lots of nice beaches. September was a great time to travel, not too crowded. About Francisco the owner - he provided information regarding the property and island before I departed. I was met at the airport and transported to his managers office and taken from there to the villa. While at Villa Baan Souha, Francisco remained in contact with me regularly to see if all of my requirements were being met. Francisco, I thank you for allowing me to stay at your property. Steve P.
