Summer in Santa Monica

We enjoyed our stay here. The location is great - walkable to a whole foods and a few restaurants, etc. and an easy bus ride away to the beach. It is also close to Brentwood which we really enjoyed exploring. We were very comfortable in the home. The home is on a busy street but that didn't really bother us. We would stay here again. I would note though that the property does feel more like a primary home which not be for everyone.”

Gorgeous home, pool/lounge area, and location unbeatable

The home is lovely, the pool area a dream, and location incredible. We loved the neighborhood, easy access to Montana Street (coffee shops, shopping, restaurants) and proximity to beach, Santa Monica Pier, Pac Pal shopping area, etc. Our visit was relaxing, and the comfort of the home (kitchen, projection tv, etc) made our stay really excellent. We LOVED our time at the "French Chateau". The location of the home was perfect - we ventured out and ate our way through Santa Monica, Malibu, Brentwood and Venice Beach. So many exquisite restaurants nearby. What a beautiful neighborhood! The home was perfect for our family. Every bedroom had an ensuite bathroom. We also enjoyed having many common spaces indoors and outdoors. The pool was one of our favorite! Our week at the Chateau went by way too quickly. Thank you for opening your beautiful home to us. Spectacular Home in Santa Monica

This spectacular home was a perfect way for my family to relax in beautiful Santa Monica. It has all the amenities we wanted: a sauna, hot tub, seasonal swimming pool, theater room, gourmet kitchen, and car parking. The host was helpful and he provided a guidebook for the home's amenities and local shopping/restaurants/sites. Every morning, we would jog around the neighborhood and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful scenery. In the evenings, we would sit by the pool, cook dinner on the outdoor grill, and mix drinks at the outside bar area. I recommend this home highly. ”

Incredible chateau in the heart of de Santa Monica. House with the “charme” where combined old tradicional French style with the the modern technology. It has everything and more to live a dream week. Perfect surroundings, expansive gardens, huge heated swimming pool, sauna, hot tub, and amazing bedroom where you feel like a King with your Queen. L.A. area visit

We had a wonderful stay in Santa Monica. The location is actually midway between downtown Santa Monica and Brentwood on the north edge of Santa Monica. The skinny driveway is difficult to maneuver, but there is plenty of street parking out front. The pool and jacuzzi area were really great for relaxation and we enjoyed projecting movies in the area adjacent the kitchen. ”

Lovely home

This gracious home is in a great location. Two particularly outstanding features are the swimming pool, which is deep enough to dive into, where our granddaughter had several play dates, and the outdoor dining table with a heater that makes it usable even on cool nights. A great place to stay.”
