Outer Banks Rendezvous Retreat

Rendezvous is a wonderful seven-bedroom beach house situated in the Schooner Ridge community on the northern Outer Banks. Located in the seaside town of Duck, Schooner Ridge provides convenient beach access and fabulous amenities that you can't pass up! An oceanfront outdoor pool, playground, tennis courts, clubhouse with racquetball courts, indoor pool, outdoor pool, video game/ arcade room, and top-notch exercise facility are all exclusively available to guests. Walk or bike to waterfront restaurants, boutique shops, and a sound-side boardwalk with kayaking, paddleboarding, and fishing areas. The property has a fabulous location, located just about a half mile from the famous boardwalk in Duck.

This three-story Schooner Ridge home sits just 176 yards from the beach and has been affectionately upgraded with new furniture and bathrooms and a gorgeous remodeled kitchen. The kitchen is located on the third level with top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances and an island for meal prepping or hosting happy hours. There is a large table with eight seats for you and your family to gather around when it's time for dinner, and for leisure thereafter, the lookout has a foosball table, and the living room has a gas fireplace and HDTV. This level also includes a screened-in porch, a queen bedroom, and a bathroom.

Working your way down to the second floor, there are several bedrooms readily available when you need to catch some shuteye before a big day at the beach. There are two master bedrooms with king-size beds, private bathrooms, and patio access—so feel free to lay in the hammock and watch the sunrise over the sand dunes before heading upstairs for breakfast and coffee in the mornings. There is a bonus room with a daybed off the king bedrooms, perfect if you have little ones who don't want to be too far apart at night. The older kiddos can share the bunk room with two sets of twin bunk beds or have a sleepover on the pull-out sofa bed in the den. You can find additional sleeping quarters downstairs on the first floor; choose from a king bedroom or a room with two queen beds. This level also has a full bathroom and a game room with a flatscreen TV.

Your home-away-from-home in the Outer Banks is fully equipped for convenience and fun! There are tons of great games for the family, hundreds of books for the beach, a stroller, a highchair, and two Pack 'n Plays. Not to mention the large, private outdoor pool and hot tub, two outdoor dining tables, hammocks, and a gas grill. There's even an outdoor shower to rinse the sand off after a great day at the beach.

Families love Schooner Ridge because it is a quaint oceanside community located right in the village of Duck. There is no need to use your car here; the neighborhood has a loop which is fantastic to ride bikes around (no thru traffic). Guests have access to all clubhouse and community amenities, including an amazing oceanfront pool with a dune-top gazebo and private beach access exclusively for Schooner Ridge Guests. Additionally, Schooner Ridge neighborhood is just one block up from Town of Duck's Park with covered picnics, an amphitheater, playground, and a two-mile boardwalk along Sound (perfect for fishing and crabbing)! Schooner Ridge also has an indoor pool, so guests have access to a pool year-round, tennis and pickleball, and a gym.
