Great Stay in Gorgeous TN Home!

This home was beautiful and comfortable in every way. Our host, Steve, went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed. We especially enjoyed the huge screen-enclosed deck on the living/dining room area. It included a huge dining table, cozy fireplace and comfortable seating. We enjoyed a couple of fires with the wood Steve had provided. Thank you Steve!”

Serenity for a week

This is a very beautiful and well appointed home. Steve is a very thoughtful and attentive host. Everything was in good working order and everything we needed was available. Sitting on the screened porch, watching a fire in the fireplace in the evening was magical. The town is pretty small but there are some very nice state parks nearby. ”

Wow with a lake view!!!

We have never been to this lake area with forests to the shore!! So many waterfalls to visit!! Our view from the house was beautiful and the screen porch was so comfortable for relaxing or dining by candle light! It was great that the master and all main living areas were on one level. Absolutely in love!

We had a blast for the week here at this property! It was the perfect layout for a large family to spread out and enjoy the space! We even rented some pontoon boats a few days from one of the local marinas. We'll be back as we didn't want to even leave!”

Fantastic Weekend Getaway

We were incredibly lucky to be able to spend a weekend at Steve's lake home with friends and loved ones, away from the bustle of Nashville. The lake and forest views from the multiple decks were absolutely stunning, and we spent the majority of our time enjoying the peaceful solitude of the house and grounds. The weather was perfect, remaining cool and idyllic the entire time we were there. While we originally planned on using the house as a base camp for our explorations in the area, we ended up spending the majority of our time perched around the fireplace in the large screened-in porch, relaxing on the porch swing, making use of the well-stocked kitchen, and playing billiards late into the night. Steve was a fantastic and responsive host, leaving his personal number and a useful binder with recommendations of nearby activities and usage of devices in the home. Absolutely amazing and we had to leave much too soon! Thank you for opening your home to us, Steve :)”

An amazing home base for touring!

We truly enjoyed staying at Watuga as we explored middle Tennessee. The kitchen and grill areas were well-suited to cooking healthy meals for our group - and we found the family room made a great space for playing board games each evening! Smithville allowed for day trips as we hiked in the beautiful state parks, explored Nashville and enjoyed Lynchburg. With three master suites, everyone in our group was able to enjoy some privacy when desired.”

Beautiful home with amazing views

Watauga is the perfect escape for those wanting some relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle of city life! The countryside is gorgeous with so many places to visit and things to do (we loved going through the Jack Daniels Distillery and boating on Center Hill Lake). Although there are only a few places to eat nearby, there is no traffic to navigate and lots of fresh country air. The home is amazingly comfortable. Steve is just a phone call away to handle any questions that may pop up. From beds to the stunning screen room with outdoor dining and fireplace, large kitchen, the grounds, and the location, you can’t miss having a great time!”

Fabulous setting, Peaceful environment

My family and I had a very memorable & fun vacation in Watauga. Steve was such a wonderful host and even helped with finding a local babysitter in order for my husband and I to have a night out. This property is ideal for relaxing and enjoying the lake life. Center Hill Lake is beautiful and this property has an amazing view of it. The property itself is gorgeous...the furniture and décor are beautiful and is set up with every amenity you could think of and then some. Our favorite was the screened in room that is set up perfectly for enjoying the lake view and hanging out with family and friends.
