Beautiful lake home

I had a very relaxing time at this beautiful home. The lake is closer to the shallow end so not a lot of boat traffic making it very quiet. Kitchen was well stocked and the entire home was spotless inside. Had a great time bird watching from the dock. Publix is only a few miles away to stock up on food. Highly recommend.”

Perfect Lakehouse Getaway

We've had a great stay at Goose Nest Cottage. Travelling from Australia for business, we enjoyed an ideal lakefront piece of nature in the perfect spot - just an hour from Atlanta and Macon. The lovely cottage has all the comforts of home, plus the charm and fun features such as the canoes, grill and campfire. The views from the master bedroom, living room, and upstairs are so peaceful and beautiful. While the wildlife on the other hand was non-stop entertainment - squirrels, chipmunks, blue jays, robins, and deer constantly peaking out and walking by the calm lakefront backdrop. It's exactly what we imagined an American lakehouse would be like. Great spot for a peaceful or adventure-filled break with all the quality comforts of home. ”

令人惊叹的房产

We loved the home!! The back area leading to the Lake had several seating areas. While it was too warm and a bit rainy for the firepit, it looked so nice and had many benches for a large group to gather. There were ample TV's for game watching. Heather was very helpful to ensure we were able to get the UGA game! The kitchen had all you needed and more to prepare meals. The grill was very handy right off the kitchen. The beds were all very comfortable. We especially enjoyed having my pup-places for him to sleep that were locked off if we had to leave. She even had gourmet pet treats out!
