A Seamless, Family Perfect Stay

From booking to the very end of our stay, ThirdHome was wonderful to work with. There was a small hiccup with the room initially, but they went well above and beyond to make things right, and it never hindered our experience in any way. The Four Seasons Residence Club Aviara was the perfect setting for our mother sons trip. The location could not have been better. We were just a short drive to the beaches and LEGOLAND, which made planning our days effortless and fun. The amenities were fantastic, especially the kids area, which was a highlight for us. The grounds were absolutely beautiful, everything was spotless, and the entire property felt polished and thoughtfully maintained. It was also incredibly quiet and relaxing, making it easy to truly unwind. What stood out most was the staff. Every interaction reflected a level of care and service that went above and beyond expectations. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are already looking into booking our next trip.”

We love Four Seasons Carlsbad ... been here many times before

There was a mix up with the reservation as the owners of this property did not put the reservation in our names. But, they have learned from this and I am sure that will not happen again in the future. Luckily we live close by so we could just stay at our home for this week. I am sure that Thirdhome will refund the keys and the $$ to me as this mix up was not due to anything we did. ”

Isolated 5 star getaway

We had the Premium one bedroom condo. Check in at the main desk in a different complex was easy and smooth. The resort is huge with lots of hills. During Covid, there is no shuttle service, so you will definitely need you car or lots of walking. The two pools were large, open and inviting, the fitness centers were closed. The Four Seasons amenities and daily housekeeping were perfect. The resort is self contained with almost no ocean views so will need a car for the 15 minute drive to Carlsbad, its b each and lovely restaurants. All in all, a 5 star resort as a getaway, but somewhat isolated and will need a car to enjoy the beaches and towns”

Don't hesitate to stay at this lovely Four Season's Residence Club Aviara in their 1 Bedroom Premium! It's located north of San Diego in Carlsbad with a 25 minute drive to the city to enjoy San Diego. It was really fun to explore all the beach communities in the area. The resort itself is just gorgeous and the 1 bedroom premium is so large, at over 1,000 square feet, with a full kitchen, dining room, living room, 2 full bathrooms, laundry room and 2 lovely balconies overlooking the property. Complimentary daily maid service was available with a mid week linen change was a real treat, Four Seasons linens are luxurious. They even offered a mattress topper to make the bed more firm or soft! I'm a self titled bed snob and that made me very happy, lol! I'm not sure that the fold out couch in the living room would be very comfortable if 4 were to stay, but for kids it would be fine especially with the 2nd bathroom. Perfect vacation spot for all members that just want to travel in 2's or 4's!

Love this trip!!! To escape the Texas heat, I jumped at the chance to stay at the Four Season's Residence Club. We stayed in the "1 bedroom premium villa for 2 back to back weeks! It is everything you would expect from a Four Season's property. The villa is Very spacious at over 1,000 sq. ft. with a full kitchen, dining room, living room, and huge master bedroom and 2 full bathrooms. The property has 2 pools and a lovely lobby and open air comfy seating around fire pits to hang out with coffee, drinks or snacks from their restaurants. There is also poolside service. We are not golfers, but I imagine it's pretty amazing. We played ping-pong by the pool instead, lol! It's really the best of both worlds being a residence style property with the added bonus of luxury accommodations and service. I know there are also 2 bedroom units on the exchange. This 1 bed unit says it sleeps 4, but it would be difficult for a second couple to sleep on the sofa fold out. Could be great for kids though. Now, let me tell you about the comfy bed and pillows galore, fantastic for those days you want to collapse in bed after exploring the gorgeous Southern California beaches, shops, restaurants and views. Carlsbad is about a 25 minute drive from the San Diego Airport, yet this area has all the amenities you need. The San Diego Zoo is a MUST!
