Great stay for our family of 4

Thank you for a fabulous stay at the Reef! The owner services team - specifically Iona - is amazing. She made our trip seamless and was always willing to help out, arrange reservations or simply answer questions. The suite was just perfect. We loved the view, having our own kitchen and plenty of space. We were only a family of 4 and were pleasantly surprised that the accommodations are 2 suites connected. My daughter had her own condo it seemed!! The private beach is so much nicer than the touristy area of Atlantis. You can sneak away and get some quiet time in between visiting the Waterpark. We chartered a boat one day and had the best time. I highly recommend this resort and the suite we stayed in. As you have read - get your groceries in advance! ”

Great multigeneration family vacation

The owner was gracious and checked in with us via email a few times before arrival to ensure we were all ready for our trip. My family of 6 enjoyed (my 2 young kids with grandparents in tow.) The weather was on the cooler side (low 70s and windy at times) so my little kids would not actually get in the water or pools which were not heated, so that was a bit unfortunate that they did not experience the water activities, but the Atlantis has plenty of other attractions and every type of entertainment, for every age. Yes, the food was very expensive for what it was and service was annoyingly slow, but we still loved it and can't wait to go back again to experience more. All in all, a great place for a multigeneration family vacation and the suites were lovely and very comfortable.”

Wonderful Week - Better Than Expected!

This is a very large compound-like resort with numerous attractions. The lockoff feature of the 2 bedroom units provided privacy - perfect for 2 families. We were granted access to the ultra-exclusive Cove Adults Only Pool as guests of the owner - a definite plus! We enjoyed all the water rides, which were fun for both kids and adults. The casino provided additional adult entertainment. And the kids spent countless hours in the pools and at the beach. The only drawback is that the food at the resort is very expensive, although poolside food is more reasonably priced than at restaurants. We brought provisions from home and made a grocery run, thereby saving a lot of money on food and drinks.”

The Reef at Atlantis

We had a great time at Atlantis, especially the grandkids who could not get enough of the slides!! The 2-bedroom unit at the Reef was very comfortable for a family of 6. All the rooms were spacious and with the sofa bed in the living room everyone had their own bed. We had a nice kitchen which was cleaned daily by the housekeeping staff. All the staff at Atlantis were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to help and this was the case throughout the resort. The Ocean Club Golf Course was wonderful with Ocean views throughout and highly recommended. We did some off-site snorkel activities but I would suggest that those offered at Atlantis would be equal or better to take advantage of. The food costs were surprisingly high and you are a captive audience. We ordered groceries that were delivered and that worked out well or you could take a taxi to the supermarket and I am sure save some money. All in all it was a great trip and we can recommend it highly to other 3rd home owners.”

Family Vacation

My Third Home membership was able to secure four condo units at the Reef for a family vacation, of five adults and two children. We have all been to Atlantis and Reef many times this trip by far was the best! Weather was perfection, rooms were all very nice, and well equipped. Reef services and people are awesome. With two grandchildren 3 and 4 years we were busy everyday at both indoor and outdoor aquariums, dinners every night out with the big kids. Our favorite was Nubo. The overall property was perfection. Always a Winner!!!!

Atlantis and the Reef never disappoint. This was no different. It is so nice to be close to all of the action but have the option to be able to go over to the Reef and get some quite. The resort is great for kids of all ages and adults also. It's great to have the owner benefits when in residence as well. Access to Cain is great for the adults. You will never be bored here and the unit is laid out perfectly for 4 adults or 4 adults and a couple kids.”

Spacious and gorgeous view

We have been to Atlantis several times and this suite is the best one we have stayed in. It is on a high floor with awesome view. The unit can be separated as a one bedroom plus one studio. It was one of the busiest week of the year, so we booked restaurant and activities in advance with the concierge. The Ultimate Trainer of the Day is a great value. ”

Family Reef Vacation

This was our first time at the Reef we normally stay next door at Cove never again. Reef owner services was friendly, happy and helpful. The amenities are second to none, world class pool, beach, service and food. We will surely be back!!!! Love Atlantis”

The Reef is a spectacular place to stay at the Atlantis, especially if you are traveling with kids. We utilized everything the property had to offer. Our favorite was the Trainer for a Day. The resort gets busy when cruise ships dock, so if you stay, I suggest you book all you dinner and encounter reservations early. There is a discount through owner services for some things. They are very strict about the height requirement for the slides. My youngest was 1/4 and inch to short and was on the line with water shoes, but they wouldn't let him on, which is understandable but still a bummer. Just know you must be 48" to slide. Everything on property is more expensive than anywhere we have ever been. I was a bit disappointed my $200 daily fee did not include the workout room or some other on site activities for kids like the rock climbing wall. Overall a fantastic experience. ”

Stay at Atlantis

I stayed with my son and one of my friends and her sons in this apartment. It was great. So many activities to do and so convenient with the kitchen for the breakfast and snacks. Everybody was impressed by the views and the service as well. I would highly recommend it!”

The 3rdHome ideal is a winner

As my wife and I discussed whether purchasing a 2nd home was the correct move, much of the discussion centered on whether a 2nd home would mean we wouldn't travel as much we like to. The 3rdHome philosophy seemed to offer a wonderful opportunity for us to enjoy the best of both worlds. I am pleased to report, after our first experience at a 3rdHome property, that it is clear that we made the correct decision. The Atlantis offered us a bit of a change of what we normally look for when we get away. We tend to gravitate to the smaller more secluded resorts. The Atlantis is anything but. At the same time The Atlantis offers the privacy and "seclusion" if you seek it out. And then, if you want to expand your horizons The Atlantis offers virtually infinite choices for fun and activities. All of this was experienced with many of the luxuries and services my wife and I enjoy when we get away. The staff was top notch. Iona in particular left no stone unturned as she ensured we had what we needed. She did the planning. She made the reservations. And she succeeded at every turn. The residence is well maintained with comfortable furnishings and a million dollar view. Golf at the Ocean Club was spectacular. The days at the beach/pool were spent in a private cabana (additional charge) that opened on one side to the beach and on the other side to the "adult only" pool (a great advantage for the times when a bit of privacy is important). There are a wide variety of restaurants to choose from which does set the resort apart from many Caribbean resorts where at best there may be three choices for dinning within the resort. We look forward to experiencing much more that 3rdHome offers and we hope that those that choose our 2nd home as a “get away” have as wonderful experience as we did at The Atlantis. ”
