Terrific stay in paradise, someone limited amenities

OK, lets first say that you are in tropical paradise within close proximity of Charlotte Amalie's many great open-air dining options. Beach view with cruise ships chugging by in the distance. Very little NOT to like here, but being a discerning Third Home traveller this resort was not quite as posh or pampering as say the Ritz Carlton St Thomas or other St. John single family homes. Once the new Frenchman's Reef sister resort re-opens next door with additional amenities, this resort (pools, restaurants, tennis, multiple beach options, etc) will be much improved. Until then, alas, we must relegate this visit to just 4 stars. Recommend using the kitchen-stocking service, and a jeep is recommended but not required as taxies (and water taxies) are everywhere.”
