Watauga Lake Modern Oasis
Watauga Lake Modern Oasis
This flawless waterfront home is a lavish oasis located on Watauga Lake in the northeastern corner of Tennessee. Nestled in the Appalachian Mountains and the Cherokee National Forest, this beautiful and pristine mountain-surrounded lake is accessible only by winding mountain roads, denoting an intimate and tranquil getaway. The area packs plenty of outdoor adventure, from hiking trails to watersports galore!
With over 6,000 square feet (nearly 7k), this stunning lakefront masterpiece boasts five bedrooms, six bathrooms and can comfortably accommodate 14 guests. Step inside to an impeccably-designed, ultra-modern interior with cathedral ceilings sheltering the main living area. Here, you’ll have access to a large, open kitchen with state-of-the-art stainless steel appliances and a generously-sized kitchen island that can seat four. For larger gatherings, the dining table nearby can seat eight. The open floor plan includes a cozy-chic living room with a floor-to-ceiling fireplace, flatscreen TV, and a reading nook overlooking the lake.
Every guest will experience a restful slumber as all beds in the home have luxury Tempur-Pedic mattresses and pillows. The master bedroom features a plush king bed, three bedrooms have queen beds, and the bonus fifth room has two queens and two XL twin beds.
It’s only fitting that this luxurious lakefront home has multiple outdoor lounges and entertaining areas for your enjoyment. Step outside to find tons of soft seating, including an outdoor bed swing overlooking the home’s glistening infinity-edge pool and Watauga Lake. Picture yourself lounging and swinging here on calm, quiet mornings while you sip your coffee or tea. Then, in the evenings, gather around the outdoor fireplace for cozy nights under the stars or around the firepit on the home’s small beach area. And, if you plan on renting a boat for fun-filled lake days, there is a private aluminum dock and two boat slips. Mallard Cove Marina and Lakeshore Marina offer boat rentals, and the closest marina, Pioneer Landing, has a boat launch and gas for a convenient and nearby spot to fuel up.
If you’re looking for something to do off the water, pay a visit to the Butler Museum, which has exhibits, artifacts, displays, and photos of life in Old Butler. Or enjoy award-winning handcrafted wines paired with 360-degree mountain views at the Villa Nove Vineyard and Farm Winery.
