Lakehouse is a peaceful gem

We stayed a week in September at the Lakehouse and are eager to return. The house and views are stunning. All the amenities in the home were well thought out and of the highest quality. The owner has detailed information about the home and area. He was responsive to questions which made our first time in PA easy to navigate. There was a wealth of activities at the house and within driving distance. We had a lovely time exploring the property and hiking trails nearby. Cooking was a joy in the Lakehouse’s well stocked kitchen. I also worked remotely part of the stay, nestled into a reading nook with picturesque views of the foliage and private lake. I highly recommend this gem. ”

Great stay at the Lake House

The cabin, property and lake were all great. The house is extremely well stocked and well kept. Most of the time we had our sons family with us and the kids were never bored for a second. The game room is great but the highlight was the paddle boards and canoe. The lake is very clean and the fishing was great for the kids.When the kids departed my wife and I relaxed in the lovely surroundings taking advantage of nature at its best. The mountain country here is beautiful and you have multiple parks with trails to hike. We hope to repeat this experience again.”

We loved our stay at Lakehouse Dream and it will become a core memory and a favorite vacation for our family. If you want somewhere that is relaxed and a peaceful, outdoor getaway, this is it. We loved having the lake in the backyard and canoed and paddle boarded every day. We also took local hikes to Rickett's Glen and World's End - recommend doing them both! Perfect for a family getaway or reunion. The kids (11 & 9) cried because they didn't want to leave. ”

The house was wonderful. It was fully stocked for every need. The kids enjoyed the lake and kayaks. They went hiking and swimming in the lake. It was a great place to stay if you like peace and quiet! ”

A Magical Place

We delayed our trip to this house from last July until just recently, May 2023. The grounds and house are absolutely gorgeous. There is a private lake and all sorts of equipment to be able to really enjoy it. The house was completely stocked, with extra kitchen supplies that the owner was kind enough to leave for us. The owner was wonderful to work with and I would gladly return someday.”
