Modern, cozy, great location

We had a wonderful stay in Gregory’s home. It’s superbly equipped, very comfortable, quiet, and in a great location within a few minutes walk to great restaurants and shops, the Partnach Gorge, ski jump stadion, hiking and biking trails. Amazing Place!

I have to admit I did not know much about the town of Garmish-Partenkirchen. The town is amazing with so much stuff to do and all easily accessible by car along with the other beautiful German villages. The house is amazing, very modern with an incredible view of the Zugspitchal. Geoff and the team were amazing and responsive.”

Paradise at Alpine Ambiance

My family had an incredible experience at Alpine Ambiance. The beautiful home is spacious, very clean and comfortable. The location is perfect because there’s so much to see and do in the area. Alpine Ambiance is surrounded by majestic Alps where you can hike or ski as well as scenic lakes nearby for swimming. We went paragliding which was one of the most memorable experiences we’ve ever had. It was easy to get to nearby places such as Neuschwanstein Castle and the Austrian Alps. The host was great, providing us with lots of suggestions for restaurants and places to hike. Alpine Ambiance was a wonderful home base to return to everyday. The kitchen is well equipped and the grocery store is just down the street. We would highly recommend this wonderful vacation home. ”

Fantastic apartment , great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Geoff’s apartment in Garmisch Partenkirchen . The apartment was warm , comfortable , spacious and had everything we could need. The location was great , minutes walk from some great restaurants and shops in the old part of the town , with excellent public transport on the doorstep . We didn’t ski but there were lovely walks everywhere . And the whole area had so much to do . Would highly recommend Gasthof Fraundorfer 5 minutes walk if you are visiting . Fantastic place

We spent Christmas in Garmisch with family and had a wonderful stay. The view of the mountains from the condo was great. The location is about a 30 minute walk to the center of town along a beautiful river walkway. We also hiked to the Tannenhütte which is about a 45-minutes above the condo. The view there was gorgeous and food and drinks perfect. Geoff was an excellent Host. We asked about Fondue and Raclette sets and he provided them without hesitation. Communication could not have been better both with Geoff and the property manager. Can't think of anything that could have been better. ”

Alpine Beauty

Alpine Ambiance was a perfect place for us to stay to explore the area. It is conveniently located driving distance to so many beautiful areas to explore. The closest town, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, is an easy walk (less than 1mile) and looks like it is out of a story book. I felt like I was transported back in time. Bakery Pastry Benedict was a daily stop for us. Garmisch is a short drive and is much larger and filled with shops and restaurants. Castles, Oberammergau, Olympic Village, ski towns, and beautiful hikes are all driving distance. We hiked through the gorge near Olympic Village and it was amazing. While it must be unbelievable during ski season, it certainly wasn’t lacking for things to do off season. The mountains and countryside were more beautiful than I had imagined. Alpine Ambiance is just as pictured; a newer (or newly remodeled) unit with new furniture, very well maintained, clean, well stocked, and much larger than I was expecting. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. I would definitely return. ”

Great stay in the mountains!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Albine Ambiance. Geoff was so easy to communicate with and very helpful to recommendations in the area. The apartment was perfect for our family of 5. A nice blend of German and North American conveniences in the design and layout, the apartment was large and very functional. We loved the sauna! The location was great and proved a perfect hub for exploring the area. We particularly loved being able to walk to old town Partenkirchen. So much to see and do, we felt we were barely scratching the surface with a week. We'd happily recommend Alpine Ambiance and more generally this area of Germany which is beautiful and has something for everyone. Thanks again! ”

Amazing experience

We had an amazing experience staying at Alpine Ambiance. It is centrally located to everything in the area, including many restaurants that you can walk to. We even walked to the Olympic village and hike the mountain. Highly recommend this house to anyone wanting to spend time in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.”
